Perfect fit and does the job

Great replacement filters at a great price. I like to change .y air filters much more often than the manual says. This is because a dirty air filter will cause air and dirt to enter the engine through other places if the filter is dirty.These filters seem to be very similar in quality to the OEM filters and since they cost about 1/4 as much, I can change them more often without breaking the bank. Very good value for the money.

filter is of good quality and price. However, it does sit 1/8 th of inch higher than the stock filter #496894.when you put the cover back on, you'll notice a small gap at the bottom. Just make sure the first nut is tightened to make an airtight seal and the second nut for the cover will cover the top portion of the lip in the gap. If those are tight, you'll be fine.

I am glad you can still get these, I have several older Murray riding mowersthat are old workhorses that have kept on running for 20 years. Can start upfine with last years gas, unlike the new modern fussy ones. So thanks for keepingselling the air filters for them :)
