If you don't not like vinegar this will not be for you because it is heavily vinegar flavored. I love the tang of vinegar so I really enjoy the taste. It taste really good to me, and gives me the ranch kick that I have missed since giving up dairy.

Do you know how some products don’t taste the same as the “real thing,” but get close enough that you feel you can enjoy something you missed? THIS is not one of them!!!! Nothing like Ranch. Kind of sweet, bitter, sour, greasy… (I had to force myself to taste it to write this review.) I don’t even have the words to explain it. It’s just so oddly awful. Spending so much money only adds insult to injury! I don’t know where all the stellar reviews came from. Everyone in my house very much disliked this “ranch.”

Although this says dairy free it is not soy free. So beware. The taste is right on but it was a bit pricey for the size. You can buy the same size much cheaper in a health food store if you have one in your area or if your grocer carries healthy alternatives.

This is the best vegan ranch I have found. But seems to be disappearing from the local stores😥 The only problem when I ordered it from Amazon is that they shipped in an envelope instead of a box. It came shattered. I did not even want to open it knowing I would have dressing and glass everywhere. I chatted with customer service and received a refund.

It is a delicious dressing, but it does not taste like the good ‘ol fashioned ranch. Very thick consistency which makes it nearly impossible to get out of the glass container. I bet I left 2 servings in the jar because couldn’t get it to slide out or scrape deep enough. I highly suggest this manufacturer switch to a squeeze bottle or wide mouth jar you could scoop from.

This is definitely the best ranch substitute I've tried, and I've tried quite a few, I have a milk protein allergy, and normal ranch would kill me, so I just thought of it as something I'd never had. Than I tried this with chicken wings, and will not go back. Being that I haven't had real ranch, I have to trust the people in my house that do eat ranch, and say the texture and taste are nearly identical (along with the fact that they'll choose to eat it if out of real ranch) But i can confirm the texture seems more natural, and much creamer than other vegan ranch products I've tried.

As someone who has tried numerous non-dairy or vegan versions of traditionally dairy-based foods, I can say that this product is not for me, but might be right for you. The other reviews here seem to be extremely positive or negative, so here is a balanced opinion. I personally didn't care for the taste at all. It was too "cheesy" (odd since there is no actual cheese in this product), which makes me think that so much flavoring has been added to hide the natural flavor and make it taste like ranch dressing. But taste is an opinion. You might like the flavor yourself. I noticed that on different items, the taste differed slightly. For example, I took a first taste directly from the bottle on a spoon - not good. I next tried a carrot - not good, but not as bad. Then I tried lettuce - less and less unpleasant. To each their own, maybe you'll like it on salad or a baked potato, I did not. Anything good about it? Yes, the texture and consistency was excellent. Often, vegan products simulating dairy has textures that are unpleasant. Not the case here. It essentially flows, looks, feels, and smells like traditional ranch dressing. I do like some other daiya products, so I am not biased for or against them. I didn't like this ranch dressing, but other people might, hence 2 stars.
