Misleading Description - Buyer Beware
Read the description carefully! This is described as an oscillating fan. However, the fan only "sways" back and forth to the ground. Unless you have a lot of height to hang it from, it will not help you. The fan is not adjustable, as it appears in every picture shown! This gives a good argument for false advertising. Be aware.I liked the looked and wanted an oscillating fan, so despite the reviews, I decided to give it a try. Now I'm stuck with two fans, a rude seller and am out the money I paid! Oh yeah, I can return the fans by paying a restocking fee and shipping both ways. I'll pay more to return them than I did to buy them. The seller knows what they are doing, as someone has already paid the restocking fee on one of the fans I received - it was not new to me!

We had to creative hanging this fan. But in the long run we are pleased with our genius. Fans move a lot of air. Nice.

Defective fire hazard
Fan sparked and blew a fuse. Reset fuse and fan doesn’t work. Poor product internal wiring in control box in fan.

Noisy, jerky, failed after 18 months.
Bought two from HD. One failed right out of box. (Of course I had to complete a difficult install to discover that!!). They are noisy. Oscillation makes a jerking, loud clicking sound. Only moves a fair amount of air. Remote set to control both with one remote was nice. Installation not for the novice. Overall a great idea that just doesn’t deliver.

I bought two of these from another retailer. They were professionally installed on my back porch. They are wired to a switch by my light switch. They came with a remote that can control the three speeds and oscillating. The fans are exactly as I expected and look awesome!!! They don't throw much air as a real fan but do oscillate 90 degrees. How it oscillates depends on how it is mounted. It does not go all around. Just goes straight back and forth so how you install it will make it oscillate in that direction. We wanted them for looks mainly and they do look great! Our porch has a good breeze anyways normally. I took off one star because they don't throw a ton of air but do good enough for me.Picture does not do justice.

Not the best...
Bought 2 from Home Depot movement is jerky and click when swinging. One has stopped working after 2 years. The remotes were great can be programmed to run individually or together.Will not buy again

Do not buy
DON’T DO IT I purchased from another source. Fan was on the same frequency as my neighbors fan. It was constantly being turned on by their remote but not turned off. I would have to go outside to turn it off. Eventually it stopped oscillating. I forgot the remote outside and it got wet. I have scoured the internet and there are no replacement remotes. Soooo A year later, I have to buy a new fan.
