Lian Li Sl140-2 Black Cooler

Estoy sorprendido con DHL, ya ni UPS. Llegó en 3 días hasta Veracruz siendo pedido internacional, WDF. Por otro lado, llegó en buen estado el paquete, solo me disgustó que los ventiladores tuvieran un color RGB diferente a los SL120 que adquirí anteriormente, estos SL140 al ponerlos en color blanco se les nota de un blanco tirando a rosa. Al usar otros colores no se nota.

These fans are pretty awesome.I have the Lian Li 24-pin Strimer Plus, and the 3 x 8-pin GPU Strimer. I was using Antec fans, which are also great fans, but I fell in love with the Uni fans because of the way they daisy chain, and how they look.I purchased a set of 5 120mm and a set of 3 140mm fans, using the 140s for front intake, and the 120s for my 360mm AIO and one as a rear exhaust.Hookup is simple. You slide the fans together to connect them, and then add a single device to the last fan to connect them to the controller. Each controller will control four groups of four fans for a total of 16 fans. The controllers will control both the aRGB and will also act as a hub for the PWM signals, so you can plug your fans into the controller and then either control them through the L-Connect 3 software or use the motherboard for control by plugging in the passthrough from the motherboard to the fan/rgb controller.Personally, I have lots of PWM fan headers on my motherboard, so I have the three front intake connected to my Chassis Fan header at the front of my board, and the one rear exhaust connected in the same way to the rear of my motherboard. The three on my AIO cooler are connected to my CPU Fan header through a hub in my case. So, my motherboard is controlling the RPM of the fans while the Lian Li RGB controller is controlling the RGB.The controller also has an input for motherboard aRGB signals, so everything can be controlled from the motherboard if you prefer.Note, the controllers must be plugged into a USB 2 header on your motherboard. You can control up to 16 fans from one USB header. If you also want the strimers, you will need an additional USB header, or you will need the EVGA Internal USB Hub (a USB splitter will not work).Finally, I have to mention this. The screws are fine. They are exactly the same type of screw every other computer fan in the history of computers uses, and because the holes in the fans are actually rubber, you tighten them until they are snug. If you over-tighten them, then they will just continue to spin. Exactly as anyone with experience would expect them to work. If the holes were plastic, then you could really tighten the screws, but why take a chance on stripping the newly made threads in the fan by over-tightening them? In any case, because of the rubber in these fans, it's not an issue.I Really love the look of these fans, and I love the way they eliminate most of the PWM/aRGB wiring. They also perform as well as any other fan I have owned. The only complaint I have is that they could have made the cables longer. As it is, I had to use two extensions for the PWM signals.I HIGHLY recommend these fans for any computer enthusiast.

Love these 140mm fans! Great construction quality, quality machined aluminum center plate, super quiet, easy to chain together, excellent air movement, configurable, RGB software is nice and easy for a number of lighting options, easy to install, RGB hub is small and easy to locate out of the way. Very happy with six 140mm SL fans in my Lian Li O11 Air Mini.
