A good educational aid for childbirth educators
Given to my wife, who is a professional doula, for use as an educational aid and she loves it. It is robust and sturdy as well as accurate in geometry.

Great product for the price
This pelvis fits my purpose/needs for educational demonstration for childbirth. I wish it was a flexible, movable pelvis, but the description clearly states that it is not so I cannot complain. Great product for the price.

another average mold
Real bones would not have sharp edges in the locations that do like this model. The die-set could use some detailing to add quality and remove landmarks that are not true landmarks. Bones look thin in places, not realistic and fragile. Some parts look like they slid after molding.

not life size
If this is a model of a female skeletal pelvis then the female is a pre-pubescent child. The pelvis is tiny and was not suitable for teaching purposes, for which i need an adult sized pelvis. I returned it for a refund.

This states it is anatomical size and flexible. It is not flexible at all and even a small baby doll comes no where near fitting through here. If you are using this for childbirth education plan on using a small doll with a soft head.

Android pelvis
The pelvis I received was a male android shape rather than a female gynecoid shape. Seems well made, but not a great childbirth model.

Damaged upon arrival.
when the pelvis arrived the "tailbone" had snapped off. I was able to superglue it back on. I hope it holds.
