The media could not be loaded. I was excited to create a shadow box for my best friend, who had graduated from college. But the package was damaged upon arrival. The plexiglass was falling off on one side. The frame on the back was broken in the right-hand corner. The latches were not attached to the box, and the screws were missing.I could use some liquid nail to fix it, but I will send it back and go to Michael’s or Hobby Lobby to buy a new shade box for $22 because the frames and shadow boxes are 1/2 off for the holidays.This was a complete waste of money

I purchased this for my daughter’s high school letterman jacket and graduation items like garland, tassel, and certificates. It feels like good quality but I’m no expert in this area. If I don’t come back to update the review it means it’s still a great purchase.

It arrived broken with the top right corner pulled apart and broken. I was able to glue it back and you can’t tell. The latches are light weight and will only keep little fingers and honest people out. The tiny screws fell out of mine. Nice deep box. Wonderful black fabric backing. Plexiglass window is beautiful. Besides the damage and laches it’s a great display.

My husband’s dad passed away at the age of 97 in August and I wanted to put his World War II medals and photos in a permanent display. This shadowbox is very classy. There was room for everything I wanted. I highly recommend this box

Like most of the other reviews, the box is perfect in size and shape. However the craftsmanship is sloppy at best. Similar to inexpensive bedroom furniture (nightstands to be exact) the square backing which gives it its rigidity has to be finished nailed around the wooden frame. On mines the nails missed the mark on at least 5 different times essentially cracking the frame. One corner of the box is already separating. I’ll have to use so wood glue to get it back together. If I want to correct the rear nailing it can be done by adding new fasteners, carefully removing the old one and attempt to cosmetically fix the cracked area.I’m framing my wife’s Law School Diploma and swearing in memories along with grad cap. Depending on how much you place inside most of the problematic areas won’t be seen. Should one have to do all that for a new out the box item? Of course not! Can everyone build one for the price…some could, some can’t. I don’t have the time to get into miter cutting, painting, finding latches, plexiglass, paint, felt backing, etc. So purchase with caution as I don’t believe anyone will get an unblemished case. Hope this helps. Also, choosing another brand in my opinion wonts guarantee you that another brand would be better.

This thing is terrible. The moment i opened the case the hinges fell right off the MDF. The MDF was literally cracking right of the box. Like i get it its 100$, but I could spend the 100$ on better quality wood at home depot and still come out on top. The latches aren't even mounted properly and are probably to small for the width they are mounted on. Its come out the box and right back into the box after opening. Big nope, guess its a you get for what you pay.

Everything fit perfect in this shadow box. Was easy to hang. Very nice.
