Great Quality with Minuscule Problem
The quality of the writing is great & issues are rarely encountered during low velocity writing (High velocity not recommended). The only small downside, at least for me, is the startup. Some scribble or slow lining is required to have the pen disperse ink. This issue can, however, be used to its advantage, so it's not a huge problem. The colour is also a mix of a deep brown & pure black, however this blend works very well for drawing in my opinion. No other issues.

Revised from 3 star to 4 star
My initial impression on getting this pen was disappointment. I've been a Copic fan for years. When I opened the packaging of this pen the build quality left me wondering if I had gotten scammed. it does not even attempt to not look plastic. I found the body a bit sticky to hold, and experienced the problems that other reviewers had mentioned of inconsistent ink flow. It is Copic marker proof, but you can get some spread with water, which I actually don't mind as i find it a quick way to get tone/shading when sketching. So, I threw it into my "regret pile" pencil case to use until it runs out. Since then, I've found myself reaching out for it more and more. I think my hand had forgotten how to use a fountain pen, because the longer I used it, the smoother it became. It is very versatile, works both for quick writing and for quick sketching. It would be a 5 star pen if it wasn't for the fact that it's not refillable, so there's the landfill scenario to deal with.

Hit or miss if you'll get a good one
These are great when they work. I have had some that start with just a little scribbling, and once they’re started, they last a long time, and they produce a beautiful line. When you get a good one you get a clean line, no skips, no issues. They’re great for drawing and writing. I absolutely love them.I have had some that won’t start at all, or start and immediately stop, almost as though they were out of ink right out of the box. They’re not at all useable, and I have needed to throw them out. I don’t know if it’s a quality control issue. I don’t know if they’ve been stored too long. I don’t know if there’s something going on with the seller. All I know, once in a while you get a dud that just doesn’t work. For star rating I’m taking the average. The best I can say with these is they’re hit or miss. I would love to see a more reliable product.
