APC 900VA Line Interactive UPS

Only after 3 months of purchase it suddenly stopped working. Only beep sound coming. Also support available from Amazon, seller, or manufacturer .

Worst UPS ever. I followed the instructions in the manual and connected the battery as mentioned but the UPS doesn't switch on.Amazon has no return or replacement for this product so my money is wasted now.***********************EditedI contacted APC service center directly as there was no support from Amazon.They sent a technician on the same day and he told me that the UPS was from two years old stock and the battery is dead.He replaced the battery free of cost and the UPS is working fine.Please see the replacement policy before buying anything from Amazon.

The lights on the front are *bright*. They're so bright they hurt, especially at night, and there's no way to turn them off.I got two of these units, one 900VA and the other 1200VA. This review is for the 900VA, which I began using on the day. The 1200 is in storage as a backup.I run a 24x7 file and mediaserver off this unit, along with networking for the whole house. I have a number of headless servers running on RPi4s, as well as a i3-3220 and 8 hard drives in an offline server. There are also two routers, and a bunch of external HDDs connected to the RPis.The attic housing all of this is really, really hot (~10 degrees above outside temp) so I have a fan pulling air in on one side, with some fan filters on the other. This lets cool and clean-ish air be drawn through the UPS, and it stays at about 4 degrees hotter than the room.This prevent battery issues which was the bane of my previous power supply - a pair of 650VA UPS units that would periodically overheat in spite of fans blowing at them. This has been on for a little over a week and it seems to be coping fine with the temperatures.While I haven't yet used the USB port, I am planning on using it to power all the fans with a boost converter. You can find some creative uses for it besides charging.One glitch I did notice was with the input power being rapidly disconnected and reconnected a couple times, this will turn on. My supply provider does this quite often while restoring outages, and while my 1500VA Back-UPS Pro didn't have an issue, both these units turned on. That worries me a bit.Of course, I'm only lightly loading the UPS, even at full load. Some additional runtime is always welcome, specially when you have to remotely shut down servers while keeping the internet alive for as long as possible.

I purchased this for powering a medical device at night, given the frequent power outages. I find the UPS to be very effective and with short transfer time. The beep when the power trips and UPS takes over is not very loud, but can be annoying. However, the quick-mute feature on the power button is very useful. The green LEDs are needlessly bright, but can be managed by a thin cloth (some people seem to use tape), covering the front and side lights.Overall, I am quite pleased with the purchase.

Silent powerhouse. Verygood product.

Bought this ups and it's not working since day one. Called the APC service centre number and nobody is picking the calls and no help from anyone associated. Waste of money and time if u r thinking of buying this product instead let the light out ruin ur time cuz even after buying u r gonna face the same consequences plus u will lose the money on top.

APC is always the best. Especially this particular ups is works like a beast. Im just paired this one with my another APC ups .Blindly go for it.
