Love this amp, it runs my outdoor speaker system. I run (Polk Audio Atrium 6) speakers off it and it works great. Definitely loud enough to piss off the neighbors. The problem is the price, I just built my house and would have liked to have one of these for every zone of my house with in ceiling speakers but thats $800cdn per zone plus the cost of the speakers. I have many other Sonos products and love how they all work together or independently.

I paired the Sonos Amp with two Polk Audio Atrium 8 speakers mounted above my outdoor hot tub area using approximately 80 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire per run, and the setup has been impressive so far. The power output of this amp is excellent. It drives the Atrium 8s effortlessly and produces strong, clean sound even outdoors where audio can easily get lost. Bass performance is surprisingly solid for an outdoor setup, and the amp has no problem filling the entire patio area with music. Whether for relaxing in the tub or hosting people outside, it delivers more than enough volume and clarity. The build quality and simplicity of the Sonos ecosystem are also major positives. Streaming reliability has been very good and setup was straightforward. My main criticism is the Sonos app itself. While functional, I’m not a huge fan of the audio player interface, especially the equalizer controls. The EQ feels somewhat limited and not as refined or customizable as I would expect at this price point. That said, it still does enough to tune the bass and overall sound profile to a satisfying level. Overall, if you want a clean and powerful outdoor audio solution with reliable streaming and enough power to run demanding outdoor speakers, the Sonos Amp performs very well.

Bravo Sonos!! What an outstanding product. I have 2 of these beasts, one in my living room setup with a Sonos Sub, 2 ones as rears and a set of Revel Concerta 2 m16’s as fronts. I also have one in my basement/games room again with a Sonos Sub, 2 Play 5’s as rears and a set of Kef Q350’s as fronts. Sound is crystal clear and accurate with the power to drive much larger speakers.
