These Chinese batteries are as good as the ones made in Japan by Canon. Not only that, but you get a free charger, a free car charger setup, a 220 European and South America plug, and so on, for the price of LESS than a replacement Canon Branded battery! And Blue Nook (the importer) guarantees these with good humor and total customer satisfaction. I know because I had a battery for my Nikon 5100 a few years back that did not have the "chip update" inside of it, and they sent me TWO free batteries, brand new with the right chip inside, and told me to "just recycle" the one that they sent me first (that worked with the original 5100 but not the later models!) If all the free stuff and double the battery spares isn't enough, check out the amps/hour ratings on the Canon VS the Wasabi. Turns out, the Wasabi has more juice and longer holding storage than the OEM. I'd be crazy not to buy this setup for ANY camera that I bought in the future. (In my case I have a Canon S110.) Oh, and the price is also lower than that of a single Canon battery spare. How would this NOT work for any photographer? I'd buy it again for every camera I own!
