HOTORCar Trash Can - Multifunctional Car Organizer for Storage & Trash, Large Car Trash Bin with Big Opening & Leakproof

I’ve had an excellent chance to test this out- my kid got a stomach virus at school and had used this little champ as a barf bag. It is indeed leak proof and easy to clean, much like an insulated lunch box. Now, I don’t recommend tipping it over or anything after barfing in it but the top does prevent the dry contents from falling out, unlike the standard waste basket I had been using. The magnet snaps to hold the bag on the inside (since the top zips shut) are a clever solution! Also has some mesh storage pockets on the outside for spare bags and tissues, etc. Overall, I’m very pleased with it and glad I got it.

Definitely worth purchasing, but a few things you need to know:- The 4 little bands are braces.- Don't bother looking for the 'elastic' in the directions, there isn't any, the braces go under the short 'handles' on each side near the top.- The braces were too long so I cut them down by 3/8 inch. You have to bend them slightly to get them into the slots.- I left the other 2 braces the original length and slid them down into the bottom of each of the external side pockets for additional structure. Worked great. After all that, it's a great item!

It was easy to install the braces and install the device in the car. It seems to work well so far. It is a bit smaller than I expected from the picture ("cause who reads the measurements? ;) ) I like having the trash can off of the floor.I am revising my review rating because Hotor contacting me repeatedly using different tactics to to to get me to add the fifth star. In doing so, they lost a star. I made my review Hotor--don't try to bribe, embarrassed, or play on my emotions.

I bought this mainly because I liked the liner so it can be cleaned periodically. I tested by setting the Hotor trash bin on a paper towel, pouring a half gallon of water in it and letting it sit for 15 minutes. It passed, the paper towel stayed dry. I could see using this as a small cooler as other reviewers had said. Inside it has 4 snaps to hold a plastic liner and in fact it came with some trash bags (nice touch). The pouches around the sides and front held more than I thought they would. There is an opening in the top to put trash in and a strap with a snap to attach to a headrest. The only problem with it is I will need to order another one because I know my wife is going to steal this one for her car.

I purchased this out of frustration with my kids. As a single mom of 3, budget can get a little snug so we were using recycled shopping bags for trash in our van. Of course, I was usually the one switching out the bag, and cleaning up the overflow. Moms, you know what I'm talking about!I didn't think this would be a save all, but so far it's amazing! We tested the leak factor before installation, and it held a gallon of water overnight with no problem. I hung it on the back of the console so everyone can reach it which was a breeze with the attached straps. The bags are so easy to load with the 4 internal snaps to hold the bag in place (you get 5 starter bags).Mesh pockets on the front and both sides, easily store whatever you might need readily available. In our case, it fit loose sanitizer, sunscreen, chapstick/lip gloss, tissues, wipes, on the go snacks, a reusable water bottle and some spare plastics cutlery that used to be scattered through the second rows, with room for more. Rideshare folks could store waters, chargers, snacks etc.The bin is roomy enough that it will hold bottles if you need. The top is easy to use and so far has been easy to clean. Ours has the zipper closure, honestly because it was cheaper but I am confident that the velcro edition is just as perfect. The zipper might get tiresome changing the bag but I feel it also helps keep and odor or overflow contained. (Tip for odor control: fill a snack bag with dryer beads, pile a few holes and store where needed. I keep a few under each seat to keep teenager funk out 👍)I would definitely recommend this bin for any mom taxi, or ride service for the quality and ease of use. It holds a lot and keeps the clutter to a minimum. Our van looks better inside and it has recieved a lot of compliments!

The Hotor Car Trash Can is a Great little gadget. It functions as a trash can, cooler and a snack bag. It’s a perfect size. I like the way that you can put things in the front and side pockets. The top unzips so you can flip the top over and put soft drinks in it. It also has a strap so you can hang it on the back of a front seat. I’m probably going to use it as a cooler and snack bag at first and then put all of the waste in it after we’ve finished our snacks and drinks. Yahoo! No more messy truck! I know that my passengers are going to Love it. Good Job Hotor! 👍🏼

It was time to upgrade the trash bin in our vehicle, and this little gem looked like a perfect solution. I'm very pleased with the purchase. The bag is very well-made, and completely waterproof inside, which means it could be used for other purposes besides trash. It's quite a heavy-duty material, as-is the waterproof liner, so it's built to last a long time. It would be very easy to simply wipe the inside clean, or use a plastic bag as a liner if that's your preference.A really great feature is the magnetic snap system around the rim that is designed to hold up the edges of a plastic bag if you want to use one as a liner. (It looks much neater than having to fold a cheap liner over the outside edges of the bag.) The bag also came with some optional plastic stiffeners, sort of like collar stays, that serve to keep the mouth of the bag firmly open and square. I LOVE them!The adjustable straps allow the bag to be secured just about anywhere in the car, and hold the bag in place very well.I highly recommend this for your choice of vehicle waste receptacle.

Brilliant & stylish bin for a vehicle...easy to install & gives a premier look inside the car...have got it installed in my Jeep Compass...a little expensive but worth the buy...
