OT18-60A - Goodman OEM Replacement Heat Pump Outdoor Thermostat

I used it to interrupt the 28V signal to my heat pump when the temperature falls below the set temp. Because it's a double throw, the signal is now rerouted to the plenum heater to provide heat on really cold days.

Bought this to lock out the furnace above 30 so heat pump would carry house for heat. Haven't used it yet but I'm sure it will be just fine.

could not find this thermostat locally after 7 years & needed a replacement. This new one is identical to the one I have been using on my pool & it works great

My thermostat came with the red (common) and blue wire (normally open) turned around and therefore on the wrong terminals. Also, when I received the thermostat it appeared like it had been preset to 35 degrees F (which is the temperature setting I wanted). However after putting the thermostat in the freezer, I discovered that it was set at 8 degrees . I had to turn the straight slot (no arrow or any sort of indication) 180 degrees to get it set to 35 degrees.

It took almost a month to receive. I thought the one I had was bad, but it has to be field adjusted because you can't tell where it is set to change over.

Allows you to dial in the back-up electric heat strips (emergency heat) at the balance poiint of the house. In most cases would pay for itself in one season.

works as it should, hard to mount in a goodman heat pump. The temp gauge is hard to make precise as the signal and temp are hard to see. It does seem expensive but does the job to open a circuit to my heating elements. I would buy again, but for the price paid it should last a while.

Very useful
