Then I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled the album up on Amazon and found the whole thing was pretty awesome."O Re Piya" is also one of my fav's as well. I haven't a clue what the lady is saying, but I found it stirring regardless.P.S. My birds like the album also! When I play it for them they just sit quietly on their perch and don't utter a peep! :)I guess music really does transcend all barriers... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Candidate For Favorite CD *by J***Y on April 16, 2014* This is definitely a must-buy for listeners in general. From the opening track, "Kuimba", with its driving percussion and song sung in Swahili, through the rest of the album--with exuberant vocals and harmonies from the children of the world--this is one of the best listening experiences ever. Who cares if you don't understand the languages? (Some of the words are made-up 'vocalese' anyway.) Sit back and enjoy highly different melodies, catchy beats, excellent arrangements, and really good music overall. Don't get wrong ,she's very good but in my opinion it's too much of a good thing. A little less of her would have made this cd fantastic. If you really like Miriam Stockley you'll like this cd. If you're not familiar with her vocal style download one track from this cd and see how you like it.
