We bought this as a quick and easy way to upgrade an older "dumb" TV that sees limited use in the dining room, and as a replacement for an older model firestick that had started to slow down to the point of being annoying.Purchased during a sale I can honestly say this is better than I expected. Incredibly easy to use and setup (almost too easy as my toddler has figured it out), adding apps is a breeze. Works perfectly to replace the existing TV remote. The sleek minimal design looks great. Replacing a live TV antenna and DVD player, this is now the only device we use with this TV.The only down side is the number of ads on the streaming service, but that's the same with pretty much all of them and can be removed with a subscription.

I'm a long time FireTV user. I started with the box years ago and now have the HD stick. It is a great design! It amazes me that this little device performs better than the box ever did. The streaming quality is great!The other improvement is the Bluetooth connectivity to external speakers and headphones. It was easy to setup and the connection is persistent.I bought mine on sale.
