White but not as bright as expected..
My car goes through this type of bulb about once a year so I'll make this an overview of the last three bulbs I've tried. The first performance bulbs I tried were sylvania silverstar ultras.. After a year I ordered the Phillips xtreme vision +130's and now I just installed these nightbreaker unlimiteds. The silverstars never actually burned out I thought I was being proactive and ordered the 130's after a year and put them in but saved the silverstars just in case. All three bulbs are very similar really.. Since I lost one of the +130's I decided to throw in the old silverstar and saw a side by side with both one year of use sylvania and Phillips bulbs side by side. It looked like they were the same.. Whitish light good pattern throwing plenty of light down the road. I ran these together while waiting for the osrams to come in and I still didn't throw away the silverstars since they both work fine right now! So the nightbreakers are in and they are "whiter" than the other two and they have a little blue that projects onto the edge of the light pattern like if you are behind another car or pulling into a garage. What I've noticed is that they aren't as bright. They cut off really soon in front of the car and I can actually see the shadow of my own car in my headlight pattern when other cars are behind me. Not sure why these seem so much dimmer., I decided to try these based on research I did quickly when I ordered the xtreme visions last year since these were my other choice so this year I decided on these. I will leave them in since they still work a little better than stock and they are definitely whiter so from an appearance standpoint they look more like high end bulbs but they act like most "white/blue" bulbs by throwing less light where you need it. I don't drive too much in really dark areas with no street lights so it's not that big of a deal but if I did I would order the xtreme visions again and leave these as spares. Even the used silverstars are working fine! Each car and headlight reflector and bezel is different so this may not apply to all of these and I've seen that the H4 gets great reviews so maybe it's my style car with the H7's.. If you are looking for the whiter look these do a nice job looking the part. They are noticeably whiter and they look good. The pattern and cutoff are good enough and they are a quality bulb. I'll see if I have to throw in an old silverstar or +130 in a year or not and maybe longevity will be a strong point. If I had to order again I would get the Phillips and maybe try their "whiter" bulbs like the crystal visions and see if that blends the look with actual usable light better.. Overall nice quality bulbs with a nice white look but about average light output..

excellent white color and noticeable improvement in output
The lamps are delivering a noticeable improvement in light output. My night driving is far more comfortable due to the improved down-road illumination. The lamps also improve some lighting across the road. Where I live we have a lot of car vs deer collisions, mostly at night. These lamps should increase my reaction time. Also, the color temperature is higher than the standard bulbs, light is "whiter" however not that annoying blue appearance. Definitely gives you a clean white light.Time will tell about longevity, I have only a couple hours use so far. However, I am expecting shorter life and am Okay with that, knowing that to increase light output and color temp without increasing wattage means life is probably sacrificed. If they help avoid a deer collision, then well worth the cost.

Have found better at Walmart...
***2/12/2016 UPDATE***Comparably priced Philips bulbs ($30) are working significantly better than these. Again, AVOID these and AVOID this seller; there is no warranty on these hunks of junk.***1/23/16 UPDATE***This is a third party seller so BOTH OSRAM and Sylvania WILL NOT honor the warranty.Seller also WILL NOT honor a warranty greater than 90 days.AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOIDTHIS SELLER AND ITEM****8 months later, one bulbs burnt out. The excessive price is also of no indication of quality. I've NEVER had a pair of bulbs burn out in less than a year. I've been driving for 16 years now and these are hands down the absolute most disappointing bulbs ever. These don't seem to increase view distance either. Apparently Subaru vehicles require Long Life (H7LL as opposed to H7) bulbs which have thicker filament. Hence why these bulbs burnt out so quickly.

Was hoping for better!
I bought these to try and get a little more light out of the headlights on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. The installation was easy just like any other bulb I have tried in my car. The light was definitely whiter but not brighter which makes sense since a 55 watt bulb is a 55 watt bulb. The most you will ever get out of your vehicle with halogen bulbs is what ever the wattage is. I ended up upgrading to HID headlights and it was a night and day difference! Don't waste your money on halogens since they are not going to get any brighter than the factory bulbs. If you want more light, change the type of light.

For the high beams and DRL I use the H15's from deAutoKey (xenon/halogen hybrid) which look like 6000 or 7000 in temperature
My 2015 Golf SportWagen came with OEM bulbs made by OSRAM for VW. Still, I decided to give the Night Breaker Unltd's a try and what can I say? Their output is MUCH brighter and CONSIDERABLY whiter than the OSRAM's the car came equipped with. For the high beams and DRL I use the H15's from deAutoKey (xenon/halogen hybrid) which look like 6000 or 7000 in temperature, cool white. These made a huge difference between the low and high beams before I installed the Nightbreakers; now I don't see much of a difference in brightness when I turn the high beam on, except the beam travels farther and higher. The Nightbreakers look like 4000+ in temp, not 100% pure white but almost white.Let's now see how long they last. If they last a year I'd say they'd been a great investment.

Amazingly clear and bright output in my outback. I ...
Amazingly clear and bright output in my outback. I have to replace them once a year, but that’s to be expected if you read the packaging which clearly states that they only last half the life of a regular halogen bulb.***UPDATE*** It's been 18 month's and I am just now having to replace these which is better than the 10 -12 months of life I was experiencing in the past. They are so bright I didn't even realize I had a headlight out until I pulled right up to my garage door one evening. For the increase in clarity it is worth going through the trouble of changing out the bulbs.

Man muss Prioritäten setzen

Fitted my BMW 1 Series perfectly, the light is a lot whiter than previous and a heck of a lot brighter to the point where I am mildly concerned for anyone coming in the other direction.I replaced both dipper and full beams with these and could genuinely rely on dipped when raised as it throws a powerful light at a low height which is ideal.Overall a very helpful improvement with increased care when approaching other drivers needed.

Great bulbs in terms of light output but don't last long
Bought these at end of September 2018, fitted them in October to my Rover 75.Original bulbs were very yellow and one had blown and these were reasonably priced. They were clearly much brighter than the old bulbs and it was quite noticeable when driving at night. They also have a much whiter colour temperature than my old ones - they're not going to compete with HID's or LED bulbs but if you're after that sort of effect you won't get it anyway if you're going for any type of halogen bulb.Unfortunately, one of the bulbs failed today at barely 4 months old which is utterly garbage in my opinion for a bulb. When installing the bulb I was careful not to touch the glass so I don't think contamination can be attributed to the short life. Most of my driving at this time of year is in the dark with a few much longer overnight runs around the country, but if the life I've had out of these bulbs is typical, then it's pathetic. My advice, don't be suckered in by the pretty white light output; seems a false economy.

Brilliant, much better than Vauxhall oem bulbs!
I bought these for my Vauxhall Astra K, as the oem bulbs were horrendously dim. The change after fitting these bulbs was immediate and drastically improved. The light is a bright clean white colour, although not so white it looks blue. Brilliant product so far and I’d recommend to any driver, especially Astra owners who didn’t go for the intellilux at build. Finally feel safe driving at night, or in the rain, which is a must in the north east!
