3MGreen Corps Sanding Disc with Stikit Attachment, 31550, 40 grit, 8 in, 5 Discs Per Pack

Ordered this to bust down some deep surface rust on auto body panels. Initially the pad is very aggressive but loses the abrasiveness fairly quickly when working metal. It would probably work fine for body fillers but once it hits metal it loses its bite quickly. I had better luck with 80grit, it was just more work. The Diablo 6" 40grit pads at Home Depot are a much better buy at $.80 each in a 5 pack versus these that are slightly over $2 each in a 5 pack, and the Diablo discs lasted longer than the 3M discs.

They work really well. Easy to use. They stay on the backing disc very well.

These are just perfect for my bench top belt disc sander. They hold up very well much better than a standard disc. Price was good and arrived in a few days. I will be ordering them again
