SpeedTech Lights PA 100 Watt Public Address

Item was delivered and horn switch was "recessed" into the housing. Had to open the housing and reseat. Wired up and it has worked flawlessly so far. Lost one star b/c of packaging and having to "repair" brand new product. Would purchase again, without question though.**Edit**Was contacted by Speed Tech Lights for a discussion about my 4 star review. While my initial review and assessment will not change, as I believe there outcome could have been different with better packaging and/or QA from manufacturing to shipping, I will say that I have been very pleased with this company and will gladly do business with them again. All interactions were pleasant and courteous. As a matter of fact, I plan on purchasing this same item for my wife's Jeep, as it is a quality product that performs as expected.

Definitely not worth buying if you're interested in a PA System . I attached a 100 W speaker to it and it put out a very low volume. And yes I had the volume knob turned all the way up. Out of curiosity I hooked a 15 W speaker into it and it was exactly the same output as the 100 W speaker. You might as well buy a CD with a PA. Very disappointed as I thought this would've been a good fit.

I like the PA feature--nice and loud. I dislike the two horns--they don't sound like the commanding dissonant electronic air horns used by emergency vehicles. The horn tones with this unit are too pure to really get people's attention, plus their pitch is too high and could benefit from lowering about an octave. If STL would lower the tones and make them more dissonant/aggressive (like the Lamphus SoundAlert horn, which has the ideal tone), then this unit would be perfect. I ended up using this unit just for the PA system and installed a separate switch and speaker for the Lamphus horn.

Once again I tried ordering from this company only to be disappointed unit seems well made but was previously returned as soon as you put power to it fuse pops tried 3 fuses up to 30 amps. This is the 3rd time I ordered from this company and 3rd problem not to good. Stl please dont try to contact me dont wanna talk just work on your quality control

The same day I installed it the horn section quit working , I only hit the horn 3 times to test. and it quit, the pa still works but it makes a constant clicking noise.I don't know if it's defective or not and it's not worth my time to return it.I Did wire it up right since I'm a electrical wizard
