Powerful, Versatile, and Chef-Approved: The Ultimate Kitchen System for Smoothies and More!
I recently purchased the Ninja Compact Kitchen System, and it's been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. The 1200W power is perfect for making smoothies, effortlessly crushing frozen fruit and ice, and the Auto-IQ technology makes it super easy to use with its intelligent blending patterns. My wife, who's a chef, was particularly impressed with how well it performs, especially with the versatility of switching between the blender and food processor functions. The 18-oz single-serve cup is a convenient feature for quick, on-the-go smoothies, and I love that extra cups are inexpensive, allowing us to make multiple drinks for guests or different flavor combos in no time. Cleanup is a breeze with the dishwasher-safe parts, and the included recipe guide offers great inspiration. Whether you're blending, processing, or making dough, this Ninja system really delivers on all fronts!

Blades sharp enough to nearly cut through nails
Be careful. These blades are sharper than razor blades. A friend grabbed the blade assembly to wash it not realizing they were so very sharp. He cut himself. - badly. Not deep enough for stitches but close to it. So use caution. The machine works very well and I would imagine with the blades being so very sharp they will stay so unless one grinds up nails or ice cubes. This is my second Ninja and I love the brand. My first Ninja lasted for years but someone dropped the plastic "pitcher" and it cracked. To buy a replacement the cheapest I could find on ebay was about $45.00. This model was on sale and was an improved version with lots of attachments. So decided to buy it. The quality of the Ninja is almost always very good. It blends fresh herbs very well and liquids are a snap. I have yet to try blending/grinding something hard like peanuts or pepper corns. No regrets other than the bandages on my friends finger. As a precaution, I have since wrapped the blades in paper towels to avoid another mishap.

I use it for smoothies.
I pretty much use this exclusively for smoothies, using the "smoothie cup" included with this. It's nice to have the larger pitcher, which I have used, but for my needs it's the cup. The cup just makes everything easier, and clean up simple. Add your smoothies stuffs, screw on the blending blades cover, twist, and press the "smoothie" button. Remove the blending cap, rise it off, and screw on the "cup cap" which has a nice snap close for safe traveling. When your done, the cup and lid are very easy to clean. The smoothie button has it's own running process involving starts and stops initially to allow for the solid chunks to sink down to the blades, and finishes with a longer continues run for proper blending. It goes for 60 seconds, and I've never had to re-blend it(except for when I forgot to add juice, and just ended up with a puree instead of a smoothie). It locks into the blender itself with with plastic tabs which slot it, and with a short twist, you feel them hit the stop. It attaches and removes easily(same with the pitcher).I've really only used the pitcher once, and it worked great, but as this is a smoothie mixer for me, a pitcher is too much. More cleaning, and the extra volume isn't really needed when I can just refill the cup if I want another.I think I've had this for... maybe 2 years? I guess I just forgot to review it. Anyway, it's been working fine for me, and neither the blender, nor the cup attachment i use regularly are showing signs of wear yet. I'm happy I got it, it was worth whatever I paid for it at the time, and I'd consider buying another one if/when this one ever dies.

Just buy it! Best bang for your buck.
Update:A month later and daily use, still perfect performance.I’ve been using a magic bullet for 4 years and had no idea it was only 250 watts. This blender of course blows that thing out of the park! In 75 seconds, I had a perfectly smooth and evenly blended smoothie (even blended non-soaked dates easily). I also made some pita dough with the food processor attachment and wow! Worked more efficiently than my professional KitchenAid and for a fraction of the cost. It’s quite loud, but has sharp blades and good capacity. It’s fast and effective. I’m hopeful it will last for a long time!

Versatile and Powerful, Perfect for Smoothies and Small Batches
The Ninja AMZ493BRN Compact Kitchen System is a powerhouse with a compact design, ideal for anyone who wants a versatile blender without sacrificing counter space. With 1200 watts of power, it easily handles smoothies, frozen drinks, and small dough batches. The three functions are intuitive, and switching between blending and food processing tasks is smooth and quick. For smoothie-making, it’s fantastic; it pulverizes ice and frozen fruits effortlessly, creating smooth, consistent results. The included dough blade works well, but it’s best suited for smaller batches, so if you’re looking to make larger quantities, you may need to split it into multiple batches.Overall, it’s a compact, multi-functional appliance that performs reliably and is a solid choice for smaller kitchens or those who want a quick and easy solution for smoothies and light food prep. Great quality, easy to clean, and perfect for everyday use!
