Perfect fit. Price was right. Easy to install

I had one of these last year and need to replace. Exactly what I needed. Easy to install and works like a dream. I did add another layer of seal, but that’s because I found that once in a while my filter generates some excessive vibration to the inlet and I get some leakage. I only had to replace this as I didn’t store it well when I took the pool down for the winter. This year i’ll fully disassemble at seasons end and i’m sure it will out live my liner!

I was in a hurry and needed this package right away didn’t want to mess with ordering the individual parts from Intex site but if I had more time, I would have ordered them individually and paid almost 50% less. But this package is complete and ships with Amazon assurance.

I had this on my parts list when converting my Intex one and a quarter inch inlet/outlets for use with a real pool sand filter. I was priced right and shipped quick. I didn't realize my sand filter from Intex would also come with one so check your pump parts before buying one.

DID WHAT WAS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE STOCK TANK OVER TO BE A DOG POOL( MIGHT HAVE AN OCCASIONAL HUMAN ALSO) ALL THE NECESSARY VALVES AND INLET AND OUTLET NOZZLES WERE RIGHT HERE ON AMAZON TO MAKE THE PROJECT RIGHT.

Needed a better return jet to improve my pool circulation. Installed myself in minutes. Works great!

These are not rated for anything below 1900 gph pumps even though they say they work. They will pump the water with little power and have no aeration.

This valve is not adjustable. The Aeration feature does NOT shut off. It has raised our pH so high we cannot get our pool chemistry into balance. We have gone thru a hundreds of dollars in wasted chemicals and bought 2 addtional Intex vacuums this season trying to stablize pH so all of our other chemicals will work, without success. Due to coronavirus there is no one to talk to customer service wise at Intex.Clorox customer service finally helped and said the only thing that could be keeping our pH high is somekind of aeration or water feature running.Had this same set up for our pool for years and NEVER had this problem until we added this valve which was advertised to help the water.Also very disappointed Intex has resorted to be greedy and cheap with their hoses that come with their vacuums out on the market this year.We had an Intex vacuum we bought years ago and the vacuum quality was pretty good and the hoses tht came with it were almost industructable with swivels.So we gave our last one to a friend, got a new one. came with such an unbelivebale cheap hose that had NO SWIVELS so it just ties itself up in a not every few hours.So thought that was part of our problem. So we bought the mre expensive Intex vacuum. Keep in mind 2nd vaccum this year. And guess what? The same.We are left with no other option now to empty pool below this valve so we remove it.
