Went to use this for the first time, and after following all instructions and letting warm up for several minutes, absolutely no steam would come out of the unit. I shook it like a 15 year-old boy practicing with a shakewight, and no steam :( Then I did some research online and found a helpful youtube vid of an older model that said to loosen the water reservoir cap to assist with priming the pump, and voila! 30 minutes of frustration and anger over thinking I received a dud was ended. Obviously it just needed a little release of pressure and assisting getting primed with the water to get going. I hope this helps you all, because I couldn't find this solution in the reviews, like I usually do with most product troubleshooting on Amazon.

Well worth the money folks. No off on switch. Just fill the small chamber with water and plug it in. I gets hot fast. Then push the steam button and it cleans perfectly. Enjoy this great product. An easy 5-☆☆☆☆☆ Rating.

This mop is super easy to use! I have all laminate floors in my home so I need something to get the job done quickly. The only cons so far is I have to refill the water tank, and I have to move plugs to finish my floors. If it was cordless it would be perfect, but overall it makes my life easier!

I was sent this product which was not working - did not turn on. Customer service was great and they sent another one which works perfectly. I liked it so much that I told my niece about it as well. She ordered one as well and loves it. Gets floors done quickly and cleans well. Recommend it!

This device is a real back killer! It takes a lot of strength to push it back and forth on the floor while pumping the handle. Also, the cord is nice and long, but has to be completely unwrapped in order to use the machine. A regular mop is easier to use, than this, and cleams better, too, though maybe not as sterile as steam. Maybe, I just need a newer model, but, definitely want something I can control, not a robotic version, none of which thoroughly clean dried dog urine off of wood floors!I like the ease of putting this together, that the cord is long, it heats up fast, and comes with two cleaning heads: one rectangular and one triangular to fit into corners. I like that the pads are large and easy to wash in the washing machine, and easy to change. Somehow, I just want it to be easier to use! Even my male friend, who is much stronger than I, says it is too hard to push and pull, and pump.I would not recommend this product!

It’s lightweight and cleans well. My floors looks fabulous! I have one complaint though. I purchased it used in good condition. The condition was good. However; I wasn’t aware that it did not come with pads. Actually; pads was included in the description.I had to purchase pads separately. I wish I had of known that prior to purchasing. Sellers need to be precise on what dies & Durant come with their products. Overall; it serves it purpose and I’m happy with this product.

My sis unlaw let me 1st use hers when she moved several years ago and I wore it slap out! Then, I got another as a gift. I like that it's not complex to operate. One only puts the water into what is obviously the water spout, twist the cap and voila! After a few seconds and the H2o is heated, you have steam sufficient enough to clean even our nasty house. On the hardwood floors, it may be best to clean up a sticky mess before you mop it you'll find it may streak your floors. I wish the cord was a little longer, but it's nothing to get an extension cord. Over all, pretty good buy.

Luckily I got this on promo deal for $60, not the $100 it normally sells for.I wouldn't pay more than $60. Still unsure if I will be returning this as my window expires in a few weeks.It gets dirt up, but I feel once the pad on both sides is dirty, it pushes dirt around.(SEE PICTURE). I used a clean wet paper towel to wipe one area of the floor after I had already cleaned it multiple times. Paper towel is still dirty.I flip my pad over halfway through mopping (has velcro to keep in place). I am not in terrible shape, but this mop can be a bit difficult to push back-and-forth. Not the "smooth" moving mop I was looking for.Okay for the amount of hard floors I have in my house.If you have a lot of hard floors, I would invest in something different/better value for your money.*Pros- Got some dirt up (both sides of pad were dirty)-Can toss pads in washer*Cons-Cord not long enough and gets in the way (I don't have a big kitchen either)- Need to refill water reservoir often-"Steam" is a bit odd, have to pump to steam- Difficult at times to maneuver- Not for large areas (in my opinion)- Not smooth push back and forth

I purchased this Shark pocket mop hard floor cleaner to help with cleaning my hardwood and ceramic tiled floors. I was amazed at how easy the Shark mop was to assemble and more importantly how easy it is to operate leaving my floors clean and shiny in half the time. What more could I want! I would definitely recommend this unit for ease of floor cleaning and for the economical price factor.

I love this steam mop. It is easy-to-use and very maneuverable. The steam gets very hot so I feel like it is doing a good job of cleaning. The only thing I don't like is that the front of the mop pad does not make good contact with the floor. So I now put a weight on top and I get a much better clean.

Mop failed - stopped working after 6 months, used literally once every two weeks on floor. need better return warranty on this item it least a year.
