Ok, when I read the first book in the series I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I really wanted to get to know both MC backstories.  They were both very intriguing and complicated.  I'm glad I did!! you can't help but feel for every character in this series, not just the main ones.  even though the book deals with some serious issues and a few uncomfortable scenes,  it also had some lighter moments with the great banter between the characters and with each of their own unique personalities.  the side characters I feel definitely lightened the mental load and made you want to get to know them better. the love and admiration between the MC, Lilly, and Lo were so beautiful and comforting. This was so well written.  I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading the rest of the series, I need a short break as it can get a bit emotionally draining (in a good way). Please check trigger warnings.

I got this book from Larissa off of @larryreads on tiktok. Absolutely fell in love with the characters and the storyline. I immodestly bought the rest of the series and the spin off series as well and can’t wait to read the rest of them!!“I love you, but I want to love you enough that I never choose alcohol over you. Not even for a moment. I want to be someone you deserve. Who helps you rather than enables you, and I can’t begin to do that, until I get help for myself. “This quote made me believe in love. 😍😍
