Stanley National Hardware 2190BC #512-5/16"x1-3/8"x2-1/2" Zinc Plated U Bolt w/Plate & Hex Nuts

Ordered 2, both came with only 1 nut. I happened to have spares but that goes to show the lack of quality control. Will bend when you tighten to any reasonable torque.

So this u-bolt arrived promptly and appears to be of nominal quality. There should be four parts: the u-bolt, a cross bracket, and two nuts.It arrived missing one of the two nuts. In the over-all scheme of things, not a big deal. I'm sure I can dig up an appropriate nut to replace the missing one. But really, when a product has only four parts, how hard can it be to ship all four?

I ordered 4 of these U-bolts. ONLY ONE had the proper hardware. Three of the four only had one nut attached. I was trying to save a trip to the hardware store, but now it looks like I need to go pick up some nuts.

Ordered three u bolts, one of which arrived missing a nut. Not a big problem, since I was able to find a replacement from my personal collection of nuts an bolts. But I have to wonder how difficult can it be to ensure that such a simple item is intact before packing and shipping?

One nut missing on two of the three bolts I ordered. Carelessness? Fortunately, standard sizes and easy to find; but irritating nonetheless.
