I bought two throw blankets over 15 years ago from this company in colors pink and brown and they have held up in perfect shape even up to today. They have become my primary sleeping blankets because they are so soft, comfortable and maintains comfortable body temperature in any climate. I decided to look into buying another because I was so impressed and thought there is no way I would get lucky again. When my new blanket arrived I was impressed as it is super soft and I can tell it will hold up like my old throw blankets have. This company deserves the recognition and the cost is very low for what I have gotten out of owning these throws. They have been through a lot if that makes sense so I’m impressed they held up. Even with washing and drying on a regular basis, they have held up.

This was the one thing my son requested for his birthday. Eventually these blankets wear out either through improper washing or just constant use. The wonderful soft fluffy texture becomes nubby and although still warm, not as delicious to use. He used his previous blanket every night for multiple years and was ready for a replacement. The first one took some serious abuse because it was used as an extra throw on his bed instead of the official blanket made up with the sheets and all. This allowed him to sleep on top of the made bed and avoid having to make it officially when he got up--just smooth it out. He has an odd schedule and doesn't keep standard hours so having this blanket available for naps as well was very useful.Until you've tried one of these throws or blankets, you can't imagine how heavenly they feel and how warm for the lightness of the fabric. Nothing else compares. You do need to wash it with special care though in order for the fluffy fibers to maintain their length and fullness. This newer version is more prone to shedding than the original, so it's best to wash it alone, but still you can't beat them.

This blanket is so soft fluffy and keeps you warm. This is all I needed this winter 🥶 BUY it today and enjoy during the next ARTIC BLAST

When I first got this blanket I was worried that it would get gross easily and quickly, but the exact opposite is true. This is probably the softest blanket I’ve ever felt. So far it hasn’t gotten gross and it is very lightweight, just like the description. I can hardly even tell that I have a blanket on me, but it also keeps me really warm. I will certainly be getting this in more colors and gifting it. Would highly recommend.

I bought the light green in the queen size bc of the deal they had for my son. It’s big, fluffy, warm n awesome......but, I have washed and air dried it twice and this blanket is leaving crazy fuzz everywhere, especially on nightshirts. He likes to wrap up in it while he does his homeschooling but it leave a trail everywhere he goes. I have a Berkshire blanket that I inherited (and we love it) and I’m not sure if it had the same problem when it was new but it doesn’t shed now so I’m hoping it’s something that will eventually stop.

Love this blanket. Me and my 8 yr wrestling over who's going to use it during movie nights..lol! Soft, warm, does shed a little, big enough for 2 ppl bc you'll want to keep.it all to yourself

It seems the quality of these items has recently gone down hill.The Eggplant color is absolutely perfect, I saw a different version in a bbb store and had to have one. I have several different colors of Berkshire blankets and sheets. I've never had much problem with the blankets but the sheets pill like CRAZY because the background weave is much thinner than the blankets so the nap sheds a lot - though nothing is softer and more cozy in the winter, not even flannel. They wash well and as long as you use a good detergent they don't hold odor, with no bald spotting on delicate like cheaper knockoffs. Invest in a cheap bristle brush to keep them combed after washing, keeping nice things take work. If you don't want to do the work hire a maid.That said, the color and fluffiness of this blanket are primo. However this is the first Berkshire Blanket item I've purchased that had multiple structural flaws. The hems are shoddy and apparently whoever was working the cover hem machine on the hems failed sewing class and was totally drunk at work, they're uneven and fabric bulks out beyond the hem lines leaving you with a sloppy and shoddy looking product. I sew and have a cover hem machine so was able to fix them all so they don't look embarrassing when flashing off my bedrooms.Yet, the quality of the sewing from the distributor was very poor when compared to all my previous Berkshire Blanket items.tldr; blanket is amazingly soft and fluffy and feels wonderful, but it looks sloppy from the manufacturer.

I now have four of these blankets so the family will stop fighting over who gets to use it. They are so soft and warm to cozy up with. Washing them is easy and they have not faded or lost their softness after several washings.

Threw this blanket in the garbage eventually. After 3 washes it was no longer "extra-fluffy" or nice looking. It became covered in pilled fabric that wouldn't come off. Don't waste your money. This blanket was a complete waste of mine.
