Q: What is the size of the finished cake. I need to make min-tier cakes for my daughters weddings & she wants them to be served on the bottom of a wine

The bottom is 4" across and it stands 4 1/1" tall. a box of cakes mix makes 4 so 1 is a fourth of a cake.

Q: My pan did not seem to come with any instructions. Would someone share the amount to fill each pan with & how long to bake?

Put some water into your measuring cup and add to the muffin pan to see how many cups it will hold. Start baking at 350 for 20 mins., insert with a knife and if it don't come out clean, bake another few mins. and repeat the knife test. If its clean, your cake is done, be sure and note what you did for the next time. Hope this helps.

Yes, the actual pan is 4 1/2 inches tall, approximately 9 1/2 inches by 10 1/5 inches (wide and long). However, each actual cavity is about 4 inches deep and the diameter of each cavity - largest of the tiers is 4 inches. You can find the recipe for this pan somewhere on the internet. I found it but don't have access to it right now. You have to use the Wilton spray release which is a oil type spray with flour. Otherwise it is difficult to get out of the pan. Also, you don't fill the pan to the top! Experiment but generally it is best to fill slightly past the second of the three tiers. Someone posted that it was a great mini wedding cake for a shower or wedding. Keep in mind that it would serve 2 people for sure, maybe more. You will probably have to slice off the bottom to make it level after it cools. The real trick is frosting it. Perhaps one could freeze each little cake and then frost it. I bought my pan at a garage sale for $1 and used it only twice. The grandkids thought it was fun. I hope that answers your question....and more!

For Classic Cake Recipe oven 350 degrees Bake for 15 minutes and then turn pan to promote even baking. Bake another12-15 minutes Use bamboo skewer to test “doneness” and easily reach bottom of cake.-Harry
