Bought these as an environmentally friendly alternative given the bio degrade. Some of them froze like a rock and others stayed in cold gel form. Not sure which was supposed to be right. Worked fine for what we wanted but hard to recommend these.

I started using these a few months ago. I was looking for a gel/ice pack that I could use for my shipping purposes. I will update this review during the summer months when its a lot hotter, but for right now (December-March) these will stay cold for 2-3days when used in junction with a thermal insulated bag or box

I mailed a perishable package natural body butters and lotion bars from MA to Arizona during a heat wave (110 degrees). I used two of these and a 12X12 thermal bubble mailer. Three days later when the receiver opened it, she reported that the ice packs were still cool and the products were all in perfect condition!

I love these things, but AMAZ0N shipped me one missing 6 of them and I'm not going to return the whole thing so that they can pass it along to someone else. This seems like the only way to get some attention. Otherwise 5 stars. Sorry Ice-Brix.

these work well for shipping chocolate to hot climates. I wish they came in larger sizes like a 16 oz or 18oz for more thermal mass
