This inexpensive tool can save you hours!
The tool came as advertised. It is easy to set up. I could use it by myself with no problems. There were no instructions with the tool. I looked at the photos on line at Amazon to see how it works. So, Take the handle that you are going to install. Put its screws throught the jig and tighten the screws onto the handle. Be sure that the set screws on the jig are loose. measure how far you want the handle to be from the bottom of the door. Set the jig at that distance. Measure how far you want the handle to be from the edge of the door (mine was 1 inch). Set the jig for that. The rules on the jig are accurate. I made sure that all of the set screws were all tight. It took about 15 minutes to set up the jig and test on a piece of wood. It took about 15 more minutes to put 7 handles on my cabinet doors. They are even and spaced nicely on the doors. A tip - use the jig to get each hole started...it takes less pressure and insures a true center. After I got the holes started, I went back and drilled each hole through each door. I have more cabinets to add to the room, so, I kept the jig set up. There is a nice pouch to store it in after all work is complete.

Big time saver
I like that this has enough flexibility to set up any way I want to. Very flexible and a real time saver. I’ve worked with other tools/methods in the past and I think this one is a keeper.

New Cabinet Handled
It’s a little tricky as it slips a bit while trying to drill the holes.

Saves Time
We just installed knobs and pulls in our kitchen and this has been a great help without it, it would have been very hard and difficult to measure and be correct. This has made my husbands job so much easier and I am so glad he found this to help him with the installation. Once the we decided where to put the hardware it went so quickly. Saved the aggravation of trying to guess at the measurements. It is well worth the money if you want to get the job done quickly.

Swap out the depth screw with an M4 to get to 1 1/8"
I swapped out the depth screw with a M4 metric screw so I could get the depth to 1 1/8" for a 2 1/4" width edge of a drawer. This is made of plastic so you don't have to worry about marking up your material.Definitely use a pencil to lightly mark the two holes, with the jig in place, you are looking to drill through and then measuure without the jig in place. Measure three times and cut once!I drill in about 1/4" to each hole, remove jig, and then finish drilling through. This way I don't chew up the guides and it's much less cumbersome.

Not a drill guide, but a marking one
Not all the guide holes are the same size. So, your drill bit get stock on the guide inserts and it will spin with the drill bit, get hot and burn the plastic holder. I endup using it more as a marking guide... with a pencil, than a drill guide because of that issue.
