Perfect for your Hawaii trip
This sunscreen worked great for our trip to Hawaii! We reapplied often and did not get burnt! It was easy to rub in and wasn’t greasy!

Works well.
Bought this to take to Mexico because it's reef safe. While we're snorkeling or swimming in the ocean, we use it. The pump is so much easier than a tube! None of us burned while in the water.

Good
Nice sunscreen. Doesn't feel so thick and sticky as some others. Only problem was pump didn't work.

Perfect for a cruise!!
Perfect for a cruise!! I Love how convenient they were to attach to our other items (beach bag/water bottle bag) when on the beach; easy to find and keep nearby for reapplying while following the reef rules too! Highly recommend and I'll buy them again when I go on my next cruise!

Works well, easy to use
I've been pleased with Coral Isles 50. It goes on like any conventional sunblock (as opposed to a pasty mineral one) and works well to reduce sun exposure, as expected. My only quibble that unless I remember to give the bottle a shake and tamp it back from the opening, it tends to pour out too quickly and more than I want for any one application (like, one arm). Not only is it reef friendly (so marked), I think the product is good enough to use always--to reduce whatever conventional unblock chemicals eventually get showered off and might make their way into the ocean. (Everything ends up in the ocean.)

Not Truly Reef-Friendly
Anticipating our trip to Hawaii, I purchased this “reef-safe” sunscreen to help do my part in protecting the reefs. I should have been more diligent and read the ingredients list instead of just the Hawaii Act 104 compliant statement. My fault. The reef-safe statement is misleading because the Act identifies specific chemicals, not in this sunscreen, that are restricted by the Act. However, when you get to the islands, there are stricter regulations pointing ocean users to mineral-based sunscreens only. This sunscreen is not mineral-based, and all of the ingredients are chemical-based and not reef-friendly. A Google search of each ingredient will bring up “no, XYZ ingredient is not reef safe”. There are no sunscreen police that I am aware of, but if everyone does their part to help protect the reefs, the colors and the liveliness will return and the reefs will once again thrive. Ultimately, I overspent on a sunscreen that was exactly the same as my usual dry land sunscreen. Buying sunscreen on vacation comes at a higher cost. So if you like to prepare and bring your preferred budget-friendly product, don’t buy this one ahead of time if you want reef-safe protection. This sunscreen goes on well and feels nice. So, by all means, overspend on this as a dry land sunscreen. However, you can get similar protection at a much lower cost.
