Compared to other caffeine "candies", these are great. Absolutely NO bitter taste or after taste. Can absolutely feel the 50mg caffeine, and won't stain your teeth like coffee...or give you esophageal cancer (from drinking coffee or tea too hot on a regular basis). It's hard to eat only one, they're so good.

Love these chocolates, excellent quality chocolate with just enough, but not too much caffeine kick. I eat one when the work mid-day slump comes along and it gets me through the rest of the day.

These taste good but are too tough to bite into. The chocolates taste good but require a mallet crush into bite size pieces. I didn't even know chocolate density was a thing until now. I think it has something to do with the fat content or the type of cocoa additives.

I bought these for my husband who has late night drives and hates coffee or caffeine drinks. They initially seemed promising, but he's now finding he has to eat more pieces to get the 'awake' feeling he needs. One was sufficient, but now he's consuming 3-4 just to maintain a normal non-drowsy feeling. So that makes the cost not worth it because he's using more and more at one time.

Ordered a variety pack, they are all dark chocolate my least favorite.
