Good for mounting holsters to Velcro bags though I had to cut the middle section so I could overlap it and make it fully adjustable in length. However, since it is Velcro one wrap, the now cut in half middle section or “belt” is not adjustable in length so tension on the holster can be tightened and loosened. My testing shows the Velcro remaining in place even after many draws. Ideally use soft loops on IWB holster setups to get the best security. The result is similar to that of a TXC manifold without the hard base. 4/5 stars only because it requires modification.

I use this in my Vertyx Contingency duffel bag to hold a kydex IWB holster and g48 mos while I’m not wearing it. The Velcro does a pretty good job at keeping anything from sliding around or having a loose firearm in my bag, but really struggles to support the weight of the gun in a stable fashion. It doesn’t do the best at holding on to the holster in the event of needing to draw the weapon either. Not saying it’s not possible, but I wouldn’t want to rely on this for a more permanent off body carry set up.

i used this in the vertx backpack works great. holds a safariland locking holster with a glock 29 everyday
