Doesn’t quite fit right for the M271 like it says. Got the job done but modifications to the tools were required.

These will work for just holding the camshafts down. They do not stop the camshafts from spinning and jumping timing. They will certainly not lock the cams to the point of being able to undo or torque the camshaft actuator (cam phaser) bolt. If you will use these tools, mark your camshafts everywhere so you can retime the engine if the engine jumps timing. To loosen the camshaft center bolt, hold the engine from the crankshaft bolt. Once again, BEWARE! Do not rely on this tool to lock your camshafts in time.
