It's compact size and user friendly programming features make the QuadStar Elite's design unique among Electro-Therapy Devices. The device has an easy to read LCD screen and a digital keypad. Simple to understand instructions guide the user through nine pre-programmed protocols and four types of waveforms; Symmetrical Biphasic Square Wave; Asymmetrical Biphasic Square Wave; Sine Wave; and Monophasic High-Volt, Twin Peak. Found it very helpful to work with a licensed physical therapist to learn the proper placement of electrodes and to set operation parameters. Would have given it five stars if the durability had been better, after some time the unit I purchased needed to be repaired and was sent back to BioMedical Life Systems where it was repaired and given a new serial number, sadly it never worked quite right after the repair.
