You can't over dose the tank.
I like this product as it easy to apply and apparently you can't over dose the tank. My only issue is it doesn't fully dissolve some times and you get residue left over. If you've got a substrate then you won't see it but where your tank is bare then you might see the residue.

Good for all fish, but for snails and shrimp is a no go they all die lost like £50 worth of snails and shrimp when using this. So I'm not buying invertebrates

Unfortunatly did not work for me...
made the water very cloudy, even after 48 hours. Did not see any changes in water parameter.Had to use API ACCU-CLEAR to make the water clear later.
