Works and functions like the original.
The original had lost the ability to sound the horn when locking and the lights did not flash when locking/unlocking. When I finished programming both the original and this additional one are both working like factory reset. However the instructions shipped with this did not work with my car. I found some alternative instructions that did work and I am happy now I dont have to return it.2. Insert key into the ignition switch. Turn ignition to the RUN position (as far as you can go without cranking engine). Wait for ignition chimes to stop.3. Using the working remote, press and hold the UNLOCK button on the remote for 4 to 10 seconds.4. Within the specified 4 to 10 seconds, continue pressing the UNLOCK button and then press the PANIC button ( on the programmed remote ) for 1 second and release both buttons. A chime will sound to indicate that the remote programming mode has been entered ( allow 3 seconds for chime to sound ).5. Within 30 seconds of the chime, press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously then press and release just the UNLOCK button on the same remote. <---This is the part that is different. A chime will sound indicating the remote has been programmed. Press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously and then press the UNLOCK button on each new remote you wish to program at this time. A chime will sound after each additional remote is programmed.

Work as stated
I sent an email to them before buying it just verify I was ordering the right to my car. After checking reviews and google around, I decided to buy it...at the end was WAY cheaper than the dealer's offer of $83, yes that much and that did not include any programming. The dealer told me that the programming was going to be $50. Since I lost my car key with the fob as well, I had to get a new key. I called an auto locksmith and they offered me $30 for the programming if I get the key with them. The locksmith went were I was, did all that I needed, did my key, programmed my key and my fob and voula! The seller contacted me via email to verify if I 1. got the product 2. if the product work as expected. So I think service and product will get 5 stars from me. The instructions CLEARLY states that you must have a working fob with you if you want to do it as DIY. I only had one which got lost with my key, so I had no other way to get an auto locksmith (or dealer) because you need to have a programmer to do so; the instructions even state the type of programmer you must have. As always if you have questions, send a question to the seller.

Requires Original Remote or Pay Dealership to Program
First off, the remote did accept programming for my 2001 Sebring LXI. It requires the original working remote or you pay someone to program it.I recently bought a used 2001 Sebring and it did not come with a remote. It had the original window flyer in the glove box that stated it came with "keyless entry" so I new that a remote should work. The Amazon ad reads "This remote will only operate on vehicles already equipped with a keyless entry system." Upon receiving the remote, the paperwork said to go to remotesremotes.com and navigate to your car to read on how to program your new remote. The website's Sebring instructions state: "To program a remote you must have a working remote. I(f) you do not have a working remote you must take it to a dealership or automotive locksmith for programming."I called remotesremotes.com and the person who answered was very nice. He stated that they do not control the Amazon listing (it sounds like it is an authorized reseller for them) and apologized for the misleading wording. He guaranteed that it would reprogram but I could send it back for a full refund. I went to the dealership, paid $65, and now the remote works.

Remotes... program yourself
I ordered two of these, as my originals had broken buttons. The instructions are decent, although not clear in some areas. I programmed one of the remotes, not knowing that once completed, none of the old remotes will work. I also didn't realize I needed to program both remotes during the same session. I currently have one remote programmed, but have had no luck programming the second. It would seem the car does not recognize the newly programmed remote as it would the original in regards to be able to enter programming mode to program the second remote. So, read the programming instructions carefully. If need be one can gain more insight by going on the Internet for instructions. The bottom line .... I am happy I got these!! $14.99 each verses over $100 each plus $39.99 programming fee at the dealership. Definitely a GREAT buy!!

Works but a little stiff
I received the key fob quickly. The instructions on how to program the fob were clear and simple. I did make sure I reprogrammed all of my remotes, as another reviewer pointed out that needs to be done. The key fob works perfectly, however the buttons are a little difficult to push in, so one has to push on them harder. That being said, I would definitely order more from this company if needed.

Would have been a 5 star item .. No instructions included !! Went online for them and got it programmed in about 15 minutes ..Trial and Error even with the Instructions !! Good key fob and would recommend ...

Good Deal
This product turned out great. I should note that when programming the remote you might run into a not too obvious quirk. Just remember to follow the steps to not only reprogram your new remote, but also your old one during the exercise. This will not seem obvious and may sound confusing until you are sitting there following the instructions, and are confused about why you can only get one remote to work at a time. Just add the extra step to the instructions.I dug around the internet to no avail to find a solution to my confusion. The seller cleared things up, but it would have been nice if someone would have mentioned it in a review.

Husband tried the instructions, can't get it to sync.
Product looks exactly like the original one that came with our car, always skeptical when ordering online. Came with instructions but unfortunately my husband can't seem to sync it. Me (wife) has been busy working so going to try it myself and see if I can do it. So as of now, looks good, don't know if it works. Would rate a 5 star if he had been able to get the fab to work.
