Through trial and error I was finally able to determine that the fan motor in my GE refrigerator was the culprit in not keeping the fridge compartment cold while the freezer was below zero. Every time I checked the unit the old fan was running so I checked other components first to rule them out.Then, the motor was either making loud noises or not running when it should so I realized the motor was the problem.This new replacement unit is as hefty as the OEM part but actually looks of higher quality - of course I can't see the guts of the thing to see how it is built but....Anyway, the fit was perfect and the replacement job was super easy. It's now running quietly and keeping the fridge at a proper temp.I saw some other complaints about units not working or failing after a short time so hope this doesn't happen to me. If it does, I'll post a follow-up (if that's possible).Bottom line - it works and the cost was very good.

I bought this part for my hot point refrigerator. My refrigerator and freezer was getting too warm. I installed this part in the freezer portion and it was able to cool down my refrigerator in freezer to perfect temperatures now everything‘s amazing and it saved me money from buying a new refrigerator.

It installed just as easily as the old one came out. Everything‘s working great!

Fridge cooling went out but freezer was still cold, nearly bought a new fridge until I did some research and found out it was the freezer fan. Bought this and replaced the older fan and now my fridge is back to normal! Great quality, easy to install, and very quiet

Plug and play worked great

Its the right size and says the model match. The issue is that it sticks on start up, so you need to manually spin it. Then it works fine until it shuts off again. I tested it for a week and tried everything. Finally gave up and ordered another brand.
