I wanted a hand citrus reamer for my lemon water everyday that’s also easy to wash and store away. This little guy here was the perfect tool for the job! I found all the edges to be very smooth and it juices my entire lemon nicely. Only thing is it does take off chunks of the citrus flesh as well the seeds might fall in, so if that bothers you just use it on top of a sieve.

This reamer gets much more juice from lemons and limes than a plastic reamer. It has a pointy tip for planting the reamer, then squeezing the lemon or lime while rotating the reamer results is a LOT of juice. Use a plastic dishwashing brush to clean, air dry.Tips: Roll the lemon or lime on the counter while exerting pressure on it to release juice from fruit before cutting.

I bought the wooden citrus reamer. Design-wise, I really like the shape of it. The pointed end helps get a good grip and the traditional reamer shape is probably the most efficient for getting the most juice out. The size works fine for both lemons and limes, but would be too small for oranges. (Which works for me).Biggest problem, however, is that the wood is unfinished. On the end especially there are little burrs that need to be sanded out, and it needs some type of coating (like wax or walnut oil). If you don't mind taking the time to do this, then it would probably work for you.HOWEVER. I bought this brand new, and I did not receive a brand new one. The packaging was open. Clearly I received one that was returned and meant to be sold as "like-new". If that's what I had ordered,, that would have been fine. But I ordered brand new and honestly I'm getting tired of the lack of quality control at Amazon.In summary: Good shape/design, but a bit cheap/unfinished. I'd probably look for this same design, but better quality from another brand.

Exceed my expectation. I bought this reamer to replace my squeezer and I am glad I did. This yields more juice than a squeezer and more importantly there’s no plastic or metal toxins. This reamer is simply a wooden piece. Hands down one of the best purchases.

Why have I been using any other juicer all of these years? I’ve had the hand held ones that you put the fruit inside the two halves and then pull the top handle down onto the bottom piece and squeeze to juice (the yellow ones that you see in every kitchen store). I thought that was my only option until I saw someone using this. I immediately bought one and can’t believe the difference!! It is SO easy to use, and it gets WAY more juice out of my lemons and limes than that other one. It’s small and light weight too. I highly recommend!!
