Very cute cabbage patch for a little girl or boy. The doll is well made. She comes with a cute outfit and a diaper. The hat will not stay on. I hot glued elastic to the inside of the hat to keep it on, it's impossible otherwise. Beside the hat, the only complaint I have is that the blanket is not solf. My daughter doesn't care about the blanket though. All in all I would purchase as a gift for someone else's child.

I bought this doll for my daughter, for her first Christmas. She was 8 months old. The doll was listed as "restocking soon" or something like that. I ordered between Black Friday and Cyber Monday and was pleased to have her delivered within 10 days!My daughter loves this doll as much as the one I have from the '80's! This one is a little bit smaller (because it's a "baby"), and is a great size for a toddler. I didn't find any parts small enough to worry me. She looks well made, very similar to my doll, who is 35 years old and has only shown minimal wear. The outfit is super cute, but the hat doesn't really stay on while she's being played with, which is totally fine. The accessories are a "blanket" that is a little bit bigger than a baby washcloth and a similar material, and a plastic pacifier that isn't very realistic looking. I will probably upgrade both as my daughter gets older. CPKs come with a "birth certificate", which looks nice. I'm not sure if I will save it. I know I don't have the one for my own CPK. I don't remember cabbage patch kids smelling like baby powder, but she does. It isn't overly strong, and I'm pretty sensitive to artificial scents. If my childhood CPK doll is any indication, the scent will also fade over time.My daughter can't get enough of the doll and gives her lots of hugs & kisses whenever I bring her out. If you've never had a cabbage patch kid, the body is soft and good for hugs/snuggles, with just enough articulation in the rear to sit well and easily. The toes and fingers are really cute stitched details, and the head is a vinyl(?) that has a "soft" texture like skin and a small amount of flexibility (it won't bend under normal conditions but isn't as hard as many plastic dolls). This is a great first doll!
