The product description says that it can accomodate a sim and can act as a WiFi hotspot but the original product requires an ethernet or a usb dongle to be plugged in. Although the product is good but the description is misleading. Moreover, when I tried to return the product, the options allow me to only get a replacement and not a refund. I am a regular shopper at Amazon. This was one of the few times I was disappointed. Please edit your product description.

Many would be buying this to get connectivity in remote areas using 4G/3G wireless broadband. Before doing so, please do research on the frequency bands used by your service provider and the device you will be using.Reliance Jio uses Bands 3(1800MHz FDD), 5(850MHz FDD) and 40(2300MHz TDD). Band 40 provides better bandwidth and band 5 provides coverage in remote/rural areas as well as indoors where higher frequency signals cannot penetrate.Unfortunately, MR200 does not support Band 5, and that means poor 4G coverage when using Reliance Jio indoors with this device. Someone mentioned JioFi device heats up on extended usage and battery bulge happened. To avoid these problems, the JioFi device can be run without the battery. And it supports the three frequency bands supported by Jio as well. So if you are buying this device for Jio services, please check feasibility before putting your money on this.

The product displayed on the India Online Portals are different than the one's that are delivered to India Customers. The Units received by the India Customers has Non-removable Antennas (Fixed), No SIM Adapters (Micro/Nano), Power Supply is of 12v/1Amp, Hardware Version is V2 and Comes with 3 Years Standard Warranty. Considering the Functionality, supports Micro SIM to LAN/WiFi or WAN to LAN/WiFi Internet Sharing Modes and there is no Fail-over/Fallback Option (SIM to WAN or WAN to SIM) during the Network outage in the India Units (This is a Software Feature). But this feature is available on other Non-India Units. However, you can switch the Modes Manually via the App or by logging in to the Administration Page. For those who plan to use "JIO" SIM, beware; the Initial boot with the "JIO" SIM inserted will work but not after the Reboot of the router. To avoid this in the future; ensure not to setup the Router using the "TP Link Tether App" as mentioned on the Setup Document instead use the LAN (Wired) connection to connect to your PC and Open up "192.168.1.1" as the URL (will be prompted to setup the Password) once the Password is setup, go to the Internet Settings to create an Access Point Configuration manually (Profile Name as "Jio4G" and APN as "jionet") and save the settings-reboot the router. However, on any other Network SIM Cards; the setup is Auto (Plug and Play), I had tested with Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Tata DOCOMO and BSNL.Refer the India TP Link URL for More Information. This is the best LTE(4G) router I have used. Its far better compared to jiofi and similar dongles for huawei. It has two antennas for network reception. It gives lower ping or latency compared to other dongles I've used. The best thing is the wifi is stable and fast. In my usage I haven't experienced any wifi related issues. Network reception is very good.

I was really excited to connect the wifi modem and have it work with my devices, I was to use it with a sim card as the region i live in we do not have the wired broadband connectivity.Once i connected the device, inserted the sim card and powered it on. The modem was working but the sim card was not recognised by the modem (for information the sim was from an existing Jio dongle that supports LTE and 4G, it works fine on the dongle and Huawei Router).Then i even tried to troubleshoot through the management backend of the modem as was explained in the manual that is given with the modem in the box. But none of that was of any use. After logging in from the back end, changing the settings and doing all other processes. The were on no use, it kept showing insert sim card.I tried to remove the sim and re insert it but that made no difference aswell. The led for internet or for the signal strength never showed up. I tried putting the modem in different part of the house just incase the signal strength was weak in the first place. Well that also gave no results. (Also the sim slot and the method to insert the sim is completely non user friendly and requires an additional skill set)Sorry to say, not worth the money or the effort. Do not buy!...

i bought this router to replace my older TL-MR3420 v1,which i used for more than 10 years until the usb port stopped working.Unfortunately the V5 version of the router[latest version] is incompatible with almost all of the bsnl evdo dongle except micromax mmx310c[micromax dongle worked only briefly].I contacted tp link support and according to them, this v5 router is compatible with the following 8 dongle onlyData Card Model Number ISP SIME3372 HUAWEI Reliance JioE3372 HUAWEI AirtelE3372 HUAWEI VodafoneE3372-H-607 HUAWEI Reliance JioE3372-H-607 HUAWEI AirtelE3372-H-607 HUAWEI VodafoneZTEMF833T ZTE AirtelZTEMF833V ZTE VodafoneI also enquired about any .bin file for the older dongles including zte 8700, zte ac2766 etc, but that too is not available according to tp link.It was hard to believe that this excellent router has gone back in terms of compatibility and usability.hence those who are looking for a router to be used with bsnl evdo will have look else where,probably tenda 4g630 or tenda 4g600 or d303,although i haven't used them personally.hope tp-link come to their senses and restore the compatibility for which they were known for.

Il prodotto in questione si presenta veramente bene.Design accattivante, led di colore bianco non sono fastidiosi durante le ore notturne.Il modem funziona veramente bene. Lo sto utilizzando con una Sim Wind e, per il momento, non ho avuto nessun problema di sorta. Ho semplicemente inserito la sim nello slot ed automaticamente la connessione ha iniziato a funzionare.Il modem di default ha una rete protetta da password (riportata sul retro), quindi non temete se non avete particolare dimestichezza con le configurazioni.La ricezione del segnale 4G è ottima, riesco a raggiungere speed test di 20 mbit/sec in download e di 3 mbit/s in upload.Altri prodotti simili spesso si bloccavano e necessitavano di essere riavviati periodicamente, questo non da alcun problema.Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole trovare un buon compromesso a basso costo per internet a casa.Se avete trovato utile la mia recensione contrassegnatela come utile qui sotto, grazie =)Per qualsiasi altra domanda non esitate a chiedere!!!

A mon avis pas mal de personne hésite entre ces 2 router 4g, j'ai donc décidé de les comparer.J'ai le Tp-link mr200 acheter 102 euros depuis 8 mois.J'ai le huawei B525 depuis 2 jours.Je l'ai ai testé pour la vitesse de l'internet mais aussi la couverture réseau car je vis dans un très grand appartement avec cage d'ascenseur au milieu etc.Je tiens à dire que j'ai été satisfait de mon router tp-link depuis 8 mois. J'ai acheté le Huawei pour mon entreprise.Peu de déconnexion. Plutôt facile à installer. App pratique même si on aurait aimer un compteur de data dans l'app et visible sur la Page d'accueil.L'application de Huawei est plus basique mais elle a ce compteur.Pour la vitesse de Download et upload...Sur mon screenshot vous pouvez voir de BAS EN HAUT :tp-link 5ghzTp-link 2.4ghzHuawei 2.4ghzHuawei 5ghzHuawei 5ghz avec antenne du tp-link.(pour info la bande 5ghz est une bande moins encombre de wifi donnant un meilleur débit mais une couverture plus étroite).Teste avec même sim. Même emplacement. Même server speed test...Et le huawei mais une grosse raclée au tp-link. Le double voir triple de débit.Et cela est dû au fait que le Huawei a la LTE catégorie 6 et pas catégorie 4.Les constructeurs essayent de nous endormir avec les débit du WiFi... Mais ce qui compte c'est surtout la capacité de download et upload sur le réseau 4g.En gros les chiffres de 750/1200 etc c'est la vitesse à laquel votre modem va communiquer dans le circuit fermé de votre maison.Et les débit LTE la c'est les débits avec lesquels vous communiquer avec internet.Pour la couverture réseau Huawei fait également mieux.Dans une pièce éloigné je suis à-80db/-68db pour Huawei contre 90db/-74db pour tp-link.(le plus faible le meilleur).Donc voilà... Tp-link est vraiment pas mal. Mais pour 40 euros de plus allez sur le Huawei. Quand au mr400 à 122euros de tp-link c'est la même chose que le mr200 à part un débit interne de 1200mb qui sert rarement.En espérant vous avoir aidé. N'hésitez pas à cliquer sur utile. Ça fait toujours plaisir.

Tempi rapidi come di consueto con il servizio di amazon prime.Appena collegato ho giusto solo dovuto creare un nuovo apn (visto che lo utilizzo con iliad come opertatore) e poi via connesso in un lampo, la mia connessione va 5 mega più veloe con questo router che con il mio smartphne. L'unica accortezza che mi sento di consigliare è di metterlo vicino ad una finestra se si vuole ottenere la ricezione almassimo.Tenete presente che, io abito in campagna e non in una citta e quando va piano , fà comunque i suoi 10 mega in 4g altrimenti 25/30 durante il giorno. Da noi la 4g non va velocissima di suo. Anche solo quei 10mega mi permettono otre a navigare , anche di vedere film su netfliz in qualità hd senza interruzioni o buffering.Insomma mi sento di consigliarvelo.

A la lecture de plusieurs test, le TPLink semblait une alternative intéressante à l'adsl et il l'est ! Sauf que, malgré un débit en 4G impressionnant avec quasiment de l’équivalent SDSL (mesuré à 17Mbps montant et descendant avec un ping honnête de 31ms en campagne !) la partie soft et surtout Wifi de cet appareil posent probleme.-> regulierement l'interface admin ne permet pas de s'identifier (connection reject), obliger de le rebooter-> la partie WIFI, là c'est le gros point noir en esperant qu'il soit corrigé dans un prochain Firmware : canal non tenu ! un comble, si je configure et valide sur le canal 6 celui-ci reste sur le 12, même apres un reboot....probleme de performance, une tablette android en wifi pour ecouter de la radio sur tunein, et un ordinateur portable en utilisation classique du Web sans streaming fait "sauter le son de la radio" et différent lag sur les autres postes alors que la connexion en 4G est bien au delà des ressources demandées.Sur le principe donc, l'appareil est bon, mais mal optimisé ou (pour la partie wifi) non finalisé.....un correctif donc merci !!!EDIT du 14/08/2018 :J'ai du mettre un point d’accès Wifi et désactiver le wifi de ce modem/routeur. Ceci n’étant quand même pas normal, j'ai contacté le SAV de TP-link qui m'a répondu sous 48h pour me demander quelle version de firmware. J'ai donc répondu que c’était la dernière version disponible et....plus de nouvelles depuis 1 mois malgré mes relances.TP-link donc SAV zero, débrouillez-vous.

Il giorno 3 settembre mi è stato consegnato il prodotto ma non ho potuto utilizzarlo in quanto mi è giunto con la spina ingleseHo segnalato l'anomalia al Servizio Clienti Amazon che, preso atto del problema, ha provveduto alla tempestiva sostituzione.Il giorno 4 settembre ho ricevuto il secondo modem... ma con lo stesso problema, SPINA INGLESE E PRODOTTO INUTILIZZABILE!!!Ho di nuovo contattato il Servizio Clienti Amazon che mi ha riferito che avrebbero immediatamente tolto dalla vendita il prodotto per le opportune verifiche in magazzino e sarei stato avvisato se avessero avuto a disposizione il prodotto corretto... Non ho ricevuto alcuna comunicazione sulla risoluzione del problema ma la vendita è ancora attiva... e dalle recensioni non mi sembra di essere l'unico a cui è stato consegnato il prodotto inutilizzabile...
