I purchased this at the recommendation of an Orthopedic MD to wear while walking in order to keep my weight off a heal that has a couple of micro fractures. It took 3-4 days to get used to walking on my forefoot but the device does work as hoped. I wear a size 11 men’s shoe and the large fits my foot. The main drawback is with the ankle strap. It is very long and the Velcro just barely connects to keep the shoe secure. There is no way I can see to adjust it to make it shorter. The only other drawback is that it took 8-10 days to arrive after ordering. I knew that was likely to be the case once the order was placed but I did not have another source for this device but since I’m used to 1-2 day shipping with Prime and really wanted to start using this ASAP the shipping time was a disappointment.

The Velcro strap that goes over the upper part by the ankle only has Velcro at the very end of the strap. My husband has a high arch/instep and the strap does not go all the way over. It would be nice for the entire strap to be Velcro. Also the shoe in the bottom looked dirty/dusty like someone wore it or returned it.
