perfect
Putting ice on the top of the air cooler unit itself can only do half of the work. I recently discovered that if you always put the filter in cold water and then put it in the refrigerator to basically cool it, the air blown out will be obvious Cool down, and can really reduce the temperature

Doesn't even work
I received a defective product that doesn't even start. I tried multiple power sources and it just refuses to turn on.The idea to use USB power supply of such high amperes and voltage (twice the usual for mobile phones) is also annoying, especially since it doesn't ship with its own power supply. Bad design for buttons too, they are invisible and hard to use. Would not recommend, too expensive for something that doesn't work.

Handy and versatile
So far it's been working really well, I have used it as a humidifier and an AC during last week's heatwaves. It is very portable but also very powerful, after turning it on for ten minutes the entire bedroom feels much cooler! very pleased with this purchase and would defo recommend it to anyone struggling with hot weathers and wants to find a budget solution!

good
Mini refrigerator is not only a refrigerator, it is also a fan, humidifier, wind speed has 4 gears, ordinary only 2-3 gears, timer also has 4 options, 2-4-6-8 hours, ordinary 2-4 hours it There are two options for cooling and blowing. It is very practical this summer. Now I have begun to prepare its led light. There are 7 colors. You can choose a single color or change the color slowly. The air cooler can meet our summer needs. Products that can humidify the air well

Good but not quiet
Pros: it does generate water cooled air (so not just a fan, more like a mini air con unit), small and easy to move around, has a timing feature for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours, convenient that it runs off a USB so can also be used with a power pack outdoors, doesn't care what water you put in it, tap or mineral water is fine.Cons: it is *not* quiet in any way and I definitely couldn't sleep with this running! Even on the lowest speed there is an annoying buzz. Sometimes throws a hissy fit when used with a multi-outlet USB plug and won't start at all. That said, it is fine when used with a USB off the laptop or via a single USB plug. All in all, good buy.

Good little cooler but you need a usb socket.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So the warm weather is coming fast and I wanted a cooler. This unit is very lightweight. Mostly plastic. And can easily be carried by your little finger. It holds 700ml of water ( just over a pint glass) and it’s still light. The size of the unit is probably about the size of a large bag of flour but definitely not as heavy! The unit is supplied with a long power cable but at the end of it is a USB socket. So you need a us adapter socket that’s not supplied to plug it in to the mains. To give you an idea it needs to be plugged into a usb hub or typical Apple/android 3pin plug. So long as the 3pin plug can supply 5v at a minimum of 1.5ams. Which is the norm.My video will show it in action. It’s a little louder than a typical fan if you have it on cool mode. While on cool mode you will hear a hissing sound like you would hear from a bicycle with a puncher. To some people this could be too loud but tue benefit is worth it.Simply unscrew the lid and add water. When you turn the unit on it will produce as a very slight water mist. It’s not going to soak you but if you look hard at the unit you will see it. This mist is what cools you down with the fan blowing it.At close range (1 meter) it feels wonderful to have the cooling air. As the unit works in cooling mode. Some of this water vapour runs down the fins at the front of the fan. This is normal. It then catches and collects in the bottom water collector. Turning the unit round there is a little rubber stopper that you pull out to drain this water out. The manual states that after 4 hours of continuous use in cooling mode the bottom water collector will probably be full of water and if you don’t empty it Alba this time the unit will leak.My advice to you is, if the sound of the unit is not too loud to you while you want to sleep then put the timer on for 2 hours. Then after that time it will turn off and you won’t wake or return to a water mess. Then either quickly drain it or simply put it back onto normal fan mode. This way the spray mist will be turned off. The unit will run a little quieter and there will be no risk of a water mess.I’m plugging mine into my bedside usb hub and I will be using this unit at work and running it of a power bank, like the ones used to charge up mobile phones.Don’t expect it to be some kind of air conditioning unit. It’s better than a normal fan, simply because a fan can only circulate the air in the room. Fans feel great at first but you soon realise your not getting much benefit.Use the 2 hour timer and you won’t get a little flood! If you don’t then be prepared to be annoyed. I haven’t timed it yet to see if it can last 4 hours before needing emptying but if it can last that long I will be setting it for 4 hour timer.Hope this help anyone who’s interested in it. Just a shame they did not supply a 3pin usb plug in the box. There so cheap they should have in my opinion. Still it’s not a deal breaker.Make sure the unit is on something flat so the water can collect in the bottom and make sure the plug is in the back of the unit or again you will get into a mess.Enjoy :-)*** update from using as of 4th of July 2021 - this is a quick update. When you fill the water at the top of the unit it will produce a cooling mist over you at a range of approximately 1 meter. The condensation which drips down the fins to be collected in the bottom tank is sufficient that It will hold any remaining water without leaking. Once the unit runs out of water to spray it simply turns back into a normal fan. The main thing to remember is every time the top tank runs out water. Empty the bottom tank so it does not build up excess water and then leak. That happy with my purchase that I have just received another unit for my partner. We now have a unit each on our bedside tables and are very happy with the results. I personally put mine on a 4 hour timer while I sleep. When I wake up the unit has finished its 4 hour cycle and powered off. By this point it has also run out of water and had been running as a fan for about 2 hours before shutting off. *****

Broke after 1 use in fan mode!
Didn't even use this with water, had it on fan mode overnight on my bedside table with auto-off for 4 hours. Woke up in the morning and tried to turn it on and it the fan tried going and stopped and just had some light "popping" noises for a few seconds. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and even the power light does not show anymore and felt really hot at the top.Honestly I'd say this product is a fire hazard and nobody should buy this! Amazon should remove it from the marketplace.
