Eventually bringing even the Gods to hold us in awe, admiration and even in agony as the story unfolds,the sheer cunning of Odysseus, The bloodlust of Achilles is simply delightful. This is once again an erudite narration from the Author. Kudos !

I love it!!! Stephen Fry has done it again. After Mythos and Heroes, I waited 2 years for the third book, and its finally here. The cover is so beautiful, as are the images inside the book. The book is well written, with Fry's brand of humor. A must read, but do read mythos and heroes before!

The book is an absolute delight. It is the first book I read on Greek mythology and it has got me hooked.

It’s a fun read. Not too in-depth, but informative, and written in a friendly tone, rather than academic.The font used is enormous though. It feels like I’m reading a children’s book! Maybe they’re trying to pad the book to make it look bigger? Kinda makes a mockery of the publisher’s green credentials touted at the front of the book.
