EK Ekcessories 10022B Scope Dope Cat Crap Anti-Fog Paste

No more foggy glasses
The scope dope is the same product I've used in the past called cat crap by the same company with different product names targeting different customers I assume. It comes in a nice small sturdy container, making it easy to carry around in your pocket. The anti fogging stuff is more like a balm you rub your fingers on it then apply it to whatever you want to stop fogging up, then buff it off. I've used this when working, my glasses always would fog up when working hard; this has definitely helped a lot. The product does not have much of a smell to it. This small container will last quite some time, definitely over a month I imagine with any kind of heavy use.

Try some It works for optics. Plus a fun factor. Details in review
Works just fine. The trick is clean your optics with plain old regular hand soap and water or the correct optical cleaner that does not leave a residue drying them off thoroughly. You apply Scope Dope sparingly to a clean surface wipe it on wipe it off its really easy. I find 2 very light applications work the best. Try a little bit on a squeaky clean mirror in the bathroom before you take a shower see what happens. For a fun effect use your finger and lightly apply just enough for a word or phrase on the surface of a mirror or window that will get fogged up from steam. Next gently just using a light film wipe off the excess so you do not see the message you wrote. You can really surprise someone with a Hello or something witty this stuff it has many uses I have found handy over the years. I have used every anti fog technique you can think of or on the market for eyeglasses, goggles, face shields, motorcycle helmets, binoculars, mirrors, and automobile glass. The manufacturer of this product I have bought their antifog for many years with no problems. Give it a try and see I am very happy with this product and hopefully I can buy more soon. Thank you again EK for a great product.

Worked great for me!
So, I had mixed hopes based on reviews. I ordered anyway because I have had to switch to wearing my glasses more frequently and the stupid face masks fog them up non-stop.As with other reviewers I was a little miffed to have a price tag attached saying "Amazon $6.99" when I paid $8.15, but it was still a good value.I wiped a little on both sides of my lenses. I used a really soft paper towel to wipe away the excess. It didn't stop streaking that well at first. I actually had to step away for a quick minute before finishing the 2nd lens. It seemed that this was actually really helpful! Maybe it let the wax set back up some? A good hot breath on the lenses with no fog. I cupped my hands over my mouth, nose, and front part of my glasses to mimic a mask. Still no fog!I'd say that this did exactly what I was needing for a good price. I will update if I feel like it doesn't last long enough or anything.

Fights fogging on glasses and scopes
It seemed to work very well although I didn't conduct a scientific experiment. I could still see through my glasses and there wasn't too much fogging. I hope to use it in the future on scopes shooting air rifles and maybe know I'll find out then about the fogging when taking a cold scope out into the hot weather. I think I remember a few years ago it working pretty well.

Excellent in 30 degrees or above. Good performance in colder temps.
Well, this stuff isn't so bad. It's better than the spray stuff I also ordered from Amazon. Compared to the spray (the name and brand eludes me now) I bought, this stuff requires more proximity of my eye to the scope or more direct breath contact to fog--and when you do fog up, it clears much much faster. This is particularly true if you fan it a little with your hand. It is not a "cure" for fogging. I doubt such a thing exists. This stuff performs really well in temps above 30 degrees and struggled a little on those nights when the temperature was half that.

Great product, poor labeling and value.
The product is actually very good, what is odd is that I paid $9.99 directly from the supplier via Prime. In the picture the price is clearly marked $6.99. No a lot of value for the money when the price is elevated $3.00 from the printed Amazon price.

Cay crap or shaving cream
This stuff works alright for short periods and as long as you continually reapply. I would not spend the money again as its expensive and works the same as the cheap shaving cream method.
