BERNAT BLANKET BRIGHTS YARN 300G 10.5 OZ, RED, WHITE AND BOOM

I started making scarves w a rectangular loom a few months ago using this yarn. It's so cold in the winter, I felt a tug at my heart to do something to help those on the street. So we gave a few away with a new pair of warm socks. I love how soft this yarn is. One big ball size makes a nice warm scarf about 6 ft long and 10 inches wide. We are on scarf number 30...my husband has made a few too...getting ready for next winter. Lots of colors to choose from.

LOVE the bernat brights!! I've been strictly crocheting with bernat for almost a year now since it's so easy to work with. I've made 2 adult size blankets, three baby blankets, and two car seat blankets and the brights is by far my favorite. I made a 36" x 48" blanket for my son using four colors (4 big ball skeins) double crochet with an 8mm hook.

I love bernat blanket yarn but why does this say 2 pack when you only get one? I expected it to have two skeins not just one.

I love this yarn. I have made many many blankets with it and everyone I gift them to love them. The yarn is so soft, the colors are amazing and they wash and dry by machine just great. I cannot tell you how many times I have used this yarn, but it spoils me for any other yarn. I think it is best for afghans/blankets and possibly hats and scarfs. I love all the new colors and this Jump Rope Bright is gorgeous. It has all the fun colors in it for girls and ladies. I am a grandma and I adore it. I have started other projects with regular size yarns and I just cant go back to them after using this Bernat Blanket Yarn. I am always looking for a sale on it and Amazon does have great deals on it at times. If you have not tried it and you like to knit or crochet I highly recommend it. But beware-----it is addictive. I have so much of it stockpiled. I just cant get enough of it. If you have any questions on the yarn I would be happy to provide you any info I can.

I've knit several blankets with Bernat Blanket yarn and I love how they come out. Soft and cozy! The color is very true to the picture in description and it's lovely!

I was expecting two balls of yarn when I ordered "Bernat Blanket Brights 2 Pack Fabric, Pixie Pink," but I only got one ball of yarn.

Be careful when using these yarns. They bleed when washed.

This yarn is soft, and easy to work. I ordered 4. Three were acceptable with only a few imperfections, such as a knot, faded or thin area. The red color of this variegated pattern was slightly inconsistent between skeins. One skein had several areas of uneven dyes, where the original white color shown through. If this had been a solid color, I think this would be a real problem, but in a variegated yarn, it isn‘t very noticeable. Thankfully, the one skein of sold I purchased didn‘t seem to have the dye problem. Colors are bright.

I only gave this a 3 because it's Bernat Blanket, which I find to be excellent yarn and wonderful to work with. Two stars off because first of all the price is absolutely ridiculous, which I think is only because this colour is discontinued and maybe not as widely available anymore, and second of all and most importantly, the colour is NOT accurately depicted in the photo. It's much lighter than it appears to be, and in fact if anyone is familiar with "Bernat Blanket Brights Rainbow Shine Varg", turns out it matches the green in that one. So now I've paid twice what I would have anywhere else for a colour that is completely wrong for what I needed. The quality is the usual excellent Bernat quality but don't buy it here if you can find it in person somewhere else!

This was my first time using this yarn. My daughter really loved it and recommended it because it works up very (VERY!) quickly. This is a great yarn for beginners or those who have not crocheted in many years ( like myself). It is very forgiving. Hides all those little mistakes, that only YOU can see, saving a lot of hard work. Love the colour choices, especially the brights. Made my first baby blanket in years. Did something that I have Never, Never been able to do, I followed a pattern!! The one on the back of a yarn wrapper from Bernat Blanket Brights. Way to go Bernat ! I guess you can teach a mature girl new tricks. You inspire me to try new things. So I will keep you posted on the Clutter Catcher Baskets. Yuppers, another free wrapping pattern. First time using this big blanket yarn. Knitting a small blanket for my pooch’s bed pillow. Using the recommended needles, 8mm & get 2 st/1”In crochet I went up a size from 10 to 12mm to get the tension needed. Bought CLOVER hooks & they are AWESOME with this material. Had a cheaper Hook & the blanket yarn would not slide on it.This may help someone? on 8mm needles (Lace needles with red cord-Addi?) with 50 sts in knitting, I got 15” length from 1 Big Ball. With my 3 balls blankie will roughly be50”X45”. The orange isn’t that bright as in “hard on the eyes” like new neon colours.
