Up to HDMI 1.4b - worked fine to connect 2 cables over a 50 foot span
I have a pc at one end of my house and had a projector at the other end that I connected with a VGA cable that I ran through my basement. I replaced that projector with a new one that has an HDMI input, so I decided to run an HDMI cable to connect my pc to it. I believe that 50 feet is the max length of an HDMI cable without signal degradation, but you don’t typically see cables longer than 25. I think the length I needed was somewhere between 40 and 50 feet. Rather than get one 50 foot cable and hope it would work, I got shorter cables and connected them with this repeater. I believe this is for HDMI 1.4 or earlier, so this won’t work with newer technologies that require HDMI 2.0. However, it should work fine for most basic needs, which is all I need, and things are working fine in my application.

Great for extending HDMI Male sources
Using this to plug in my Amazon firestick to my TV. as the TV is mounted on the wall, access to the HDMI ports are very restricted. so I had pre-wired it with HDMI coming out of the wall. This works great for devices that have a female HDMI outputs.For firestick it is a male end. so my issue was how to merge Male to Male HDMI. well. this is the perfect solution. 2 female HDMI extender/Repeater.Works great even with the ethernet/power connection.I would recommend this product.
