nice
I believe this is overpriced compared to others but it works great. I needed one for a semi truck that was wide and that the clips would fit onto a visor that is at least 1/2" to 5/8" thick and had no problems with this one. It blocks out the sun so that I don't need to wear sunglasses and covers a wide area. I might be buying another one in the near future for the passenger side.

Too small for a semi
I needed a sunscreen to use while driving a semi. I wanted it for when the sun is low in the sky to shield my eyes. It works fairly well for that purpose and it is a well-made, quality item. However, the visor on a semi is 24 inches and the sunscreen is only 18 inches. It may be just right for a smaller vehicle but it needs to be 24 inches long to be effective in a semi. Perhaps the company should offer it in two sizes.

Required when driving into the sun, or with the sun on our shoulder. Very well done!
Quite simply, this visor extension works well. I like how it's made, it's nice an stiff so it won't flop around, it stays up out of the way when not in use. It SHOULD come with Velcro straps as listed. Mine did not but the vendor mailed them to me promptly; so, good service too.

Excellent Product
Easy to install. Works great. We wish it was a little wider for our Freightliner based motorhome.

Not bad but not great either !
It's painful sometimes to leave feedback for a product when the expectation has been set in the positive by others. But here goes.I have been in the optical industry for about a decade and having pretty extensive understanding on what a polarized film or lens is suppose to do and unfortunately this product with all its positive feedback I was disappointed, not because of overall quality but for the cost and what was perceived.Pro's :1. The item is as advertised, a sheet of polycarbonate with a polarized film.2. Does come with "metal" holding clips installed and 2 spares (atleast mine did).3. It does come with some Velcro straps to ensure it stays in place after clips are attached.4. It is the advertised size as stated.5. It does cut glare. Now Cons:1. The polycarbonate is stamped and because of that you have to wary of its sharp edges as the are 90 degree with no bevels to reduce sharpness of edges.2. Mine came with the polycarbonate "warped". ( it's bowed from the center concave or convex based on which way you installed it.3. The film is not dark enough in my opinion, it's at most 35 percent light transmission so it's more of a light smoke for the purpose it's designed for which is to block out the early morning / late afternoon direct Sun, it's simply not enough and with it being neutral contrast and not dark enough it was not clear to see through in direct sunlight as it become almost blurry/foggy in the line of sight. ( very Dangerous in my opinion as it hides what's in the "shadows" in the lens.4. It's very fiddly, you have to constantly adjust it to get clarity due to it lacking any sort of AR (anti-reflective) film on top so I was constantly seeing reflections in the "lens" super annoying.5. The hinges does not have enough "adjustments" to get it to a leave to reduce the internal reflective glare in the inside that the driver is looking through. So would I suggested it ? Unfortunately NO. It's way to expensive for what it is, it's best to stick with a good pair of sunglasses and use your visor to block the Sun and have clear vision unlike using this item. But please DON'T take my word for it. Try and for yourself and see. Thanks for reading and good luck.

Don't be put off by the velcro
This visor is nice. Overpriced, yes. I like the tint and the width is good. No gap to speak of from OEM visor to this visor once installed. If I were to point out a weakness, it is the clips. They do not have adequate tension to hold the visor onto the OEM visor. This is remedied by the inclusion of velcro to assist with grab. I won't ding the manufacturer, as I have seen bad reviews on competitor visors where the clips had greater tension. Your mileage may vary.

Improvised window tint
I use this to get some privacy. Attached it to the sun visor to reduced sunlight. But you don't want to open window at Highway speed.

Truck Glare Guard
This was purchased for a Western Star prime mover (in Australia). It’s an excellent product and well worth paying the extra for a quality product. We thought we might need a night guard (yellow) as well but this grey one works fine at night also. For Australian prime movers it could be just a little bigger (width and depth) but overall, very good.
