Perfect Drink Pro Smart Scale and App Kitchen Tool, Black

I was so excited to use my Perfect Drink Pro. I downloaded the app and had fun going thru all the amazing cocktail recipes. Some of the ingredients are a little intimidating, but I am on the hunt for them. After syncing my app to the scale I was ready to go. Sunday evening was hot here in California, so I decided to make a refreshing drink. My drink of choice was a Malibu Bay Breeze, consists of coconut rum, pineapple juice and cranberry juice. I have made drinks before, I have probably made a similar version of this, but I have to say my drinks came out perfect! In fact, I became the "perfect" bartender for the day! The coolest part was when the device noticed an "over pour" which then, prompted me to add more of the other two ingredients, so every drink I made had the perfect balance. Note: Be careful not to rest container of ingredient when mixing your drink, the scale catches it as part of your pour. Overall, I had fun playing bartender and making the perfect summer cocktails. The scale is a perfect accent to our bar at home. Can't wait to show off my skills at our next party!

The first sign that this was a great product was the ease of set up. I've purchased other products like this where I got very frustrated, but again not the case here. I made some drinks from the menu and loved the "overpour" feature which allowed me to correct the drink (add ingredients) without wasting it. But I also made a simple rum and coke and yes, it was "perfect". Never tasted a better one.Overall, I love the product. If you really want to master the making of a variety of drinks from the menu, you'll need to review the ingredients list. You may not have some of them and will need to purchase. That's okay, your bar will be better stocked. I will say that if you know how to make some drinks, the product doesn't really allow you to be creative. But not sure that's a negative, just something to note. Lastly, I see this being used privately or for very small get togethers with another couple or two. This isn't a tool I'd use if hosting a larger party and speed was necessary to serve all my guests.

I decided to try this out on a lark and am now hooked! First, update the CABINET with the stock in your Bar Cabinet and other essentials for garnish, etc.; then, start having fun. My first several drinks were from the "in the cabinet" list so I didn't need to buy anything...lots of fun to start with. It tells you what kind of glass to use (or to use the shaker), start pouring the ingredients as indicated on the app (which I have running on my IPAD2), don't worry if you over-pour, it will "fix" the ratio for you, then shake or stir and PRESTO, a perfect mixed drink. Including Shirley Temples for those who prefer. I would recommend this to anyone with a home Bar setup. No more mixology books and shot glasses for measuring!!! I do like some of the "themes" in the Drink setup menus. I haven't tried all of the other features but that's what the long weekend is for! Cheers.

My first impression of the Perfect Drink Pro!• Packaging – Nice packaging. I liked the graphics on the outside of box - but was a little confused about how it works from the package.• Scale – Nice size and weight, I think worth the money - good quality• Shaker – Nice size shaker, fits in the palm of your hand.• Stand for device – nice touch!• Bluetooth connect ability – very easy.• Instructions easy to read and follow.• I sampled the pour measurement on the scale and seems right on.• Like that the scale measures pour after ice has been added to the glass.The Perfect Drink Pro App:• A lot of information on this app. Will take some time to go through all of it. Wish it was simpler and shorter, takes a little time but still good.• Like the helpful hints throughout the recipes. Suggesting flavored vodka’s in some drinks. Nice!• Really like the list of glass choices and images of the glass options. Helps if you are not sure of a High Ball Glass or Old Fashion.• Images of drinks, nice touch and also helps (I'm a visual person)• Shopping list and cabinet inventory a great feature - I love that it gives me suggestions on what to make with what I have in the house

So this thing works absolutely perfectly ..... The downside is the amount of money you’re going to spend on all the extra alcohol she can try all the different drinks ..... Plus all of these drinks are going to be strong because you’re used to the bar watering them down with that said you do have the option to specifically change every single drink on the menu and add your own so what I found myself doing is I’ll make a drink see how a person likes it and then adjust it and once we dial exactly how they like it I name that drink with their name makes it easy to remake

If you like to make all kinds of cocktails this scale is awesome. I agree with most of the reviews that it seems like a lot of money just for the scale but it works really well and the drinks taste great. (Wish I would have thought of it truthfully.) There is a cabinet feature where you put in the alcohol you have and can select drinks based on what you have. There was a review on how this doesn't work but it works great for me. There is also a shopping list feature to add items for drinks you want to try.

I absolutely love this thing. Definitely worth every bit of the money. I’m not a heavy drinker but I do enjoy a cocktail when ever I sit back and watch movies. I use it at least 5 times a week. And it makes some of my long time favorites. Long Island Iced Teas, Mai Tai’s, Zombie, Hurricanes, Tequila Sun Rises and Malibu Bay Breezes. It’s great and really opened up the door more cocktail experiences.
