Works exactly as it should! We had a family of finches move in on day one. Well constructed and solid. Very happy with the purchase.

I put it up and within an hour there was a bird making a nest in it, fun!

I originally purchased a similar bird house but in white. It had a number of birds fighting over it within days of putting it up, so I bought this one in hopes to appease all the birds. This house is easy to put together and is similar in style but I think the quality is a bit less because I had to sand the top and the hole before putting it up. The cuts were sharp and likely cause a splinter if left as is. Once sanded, I had it up within minutes and within hours the birds discovered it.

When the bird parents lost there babies last year because of unknown preditor, I was devastated so I bought this for them immediately but they didn't take to it. 1 year later I am happy to say we have little babies again safe and sound. So with that said I'm planning on buying more for all the bird families that come around. My elderly mom loves to hear the little chirps in the morning too.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this for several months. It was placed close to my patio door. I really didn’t expect for it to be occupied. But it was & I was able to see interaction between parents & babies. The parents made their nest, I supplied the house. Sometimes the twig would be too long & watching them figure out how to make it fit was entertaining. I realized once the bird choose a twig, it was going in the house one way or another.

don't know how many Colorado seasons of HOT, Cold this will last but just the size I wanted. Like the flat back and roof that fit on my fence perfectly.
