TRC Recreation Ultra Sunsation Float

The float is NOT as pictured. I ordered the orange one and, smack across the entire bottom of the float, is a very large blue logo. This logo is NO WHERE on any of the photos. I looked far and wide to find a float that would match my pool furniture, so appearance is important to me. I did not order a float with big advertising on it!Second, as many have said, the surface of the float "glued itself together" during shipment. (I guess I should have read the reviews more carefully BEFORE buying). There is a paper lining, designed to protect against this problem, but the paper is much smaller than the float so "glue spots" occurred wherever there was no paper. It you tried to pry apart the sides, the float would be damaged. Eventually, I solved the problem by leaving the float, still coiled up, out in the sun for 8 hours. It gradually heated up and separated on its own, but it would have been a disaster if I'd not noticed the problem or tried to speed things alone.Finally, shipment. The floats arrived way earlier than expected. Rather than being a good thing, this caused a problem for me. They give a 3 or 4 day window and then missed it.

We have had a few opportunities to use our floats now and have been very pleased with them. We bought 2, the blue one and the heavier duty bronze one. We hesitated a while to spend this amount on floats but we trust their longevity will outweigh the cost. Our dog loves them too!

Was great while it lasted.... This pool float was awesome at first. After only one season it began cracking. Into the second pool season it really began to show wear from sun exposure. For the price, I'd say this float isn't worth it. Grab a less expensive version, that's my advice.

I ordered 2 identical floats. One was the exact measurements as stated. The other one was smaller all the way around, not as wide, not as thick, and not as long. I'm returning that one. The float that is exact as ordered is good. One issue in the shipping is that the float is rolled up and has brown paper in between it so the foam doesn't stick together. It didn't work and we had to work carefully to separate and not take a hunk out of the float.

My favorite feature of this float is that you can use it on one side with a nice pillow for on your back, and then flip it over and lay on your stomach without too much of a pain-in-the-neck..literally!I can never find a float to sunbathe in, that I can lay on my stomach on, without hurting my neck. This one is the best I've found so far.Also, love the quality...the comfort...the colors...the durability in Vegas sun and heat...it seems to be holding up way better than the ones I bought on Frontgate and paid triple the price for.It's easy to get on...just need to do it from a step. My husband can get on it by sliding it under his body while in the water...I can't.

I bought two of these in Metallic Blue to replace other floats I had that had gotten hard and damaged in my shed (they were about 8 years old). I was originally going to buy the cheaper ones, but after reading the reviews, I decided to splurge on these, and I am so glad I did! We used them yesterday for the first time, and they are soo comfortable! They kept me above the freezing cold May water in my pool for the most part, and the pillow is so much better than the standard rafts. I expect these to last a long time!

This is my second one I have ordered, and will continue to order this product. The first one I purchased lasted 6 years. Actually we just moved so we left it for the new home owners to use. Since moving I did order this one to replace the one I left. This is by far the best pool float. I had wanted a float which did not need air, that was not flimsy where I sunk down into the water and this one fit the bill. It is very comfortable whether on your back or on your tummy and he's you up out of the water. My grandchildren have played with this, used it as a water fight shield, pretending to surf on it and using it to make large waves in the pool. This float has with stood all of this and still is in good condition. Well worth the price. I absolutely love this.

If I would have received 2 brand new floats, I would have given 5 stars! One came in a box that looked brand new and was glued shut, the other came in a box that was tattered and taped on both ends. The one that I removed from the taped up box, was obviously refurbished. There was an area on the under side at the bottom that looked like it had been scraped or worn that someone patched and there was another area on the under side on the headrest that looked like a chunk was torn out and again patched. I'm returning one, and will probably buy another one as long as I get a brand new one and not a refurbished one. They are very sturdy.

I saw a picture of one of these online and had to have it. It's so comfortable and doesn't need to be blown up, which also means it won't get a hole in it. I used it all last summer and loved it. I wish I bought another.
