Great product. It works as it should. Yes it is hard to install if you do not understand how to do it. No it does not require a professional. Just research and figure it out before you try to do it. A heat gun does help in tight radius corners.

This is a good quality rubber window gasket. It is fairly stiff and hard to work with as it should be in order to hold glass in place and stand up to weather. Again it is a bit hard to work with, thus the rating, but it should be. Just want to clarify that if you experience difficulty installing it.

It's a great product for window replacement. But, depending on where it is on the vehicle l, it may be a two person job; do yourself a favor, install it wetted down with warm soapy water, after letting it warm up in the sun, and use window installation tools to get it seated properly. You'll save yourself lots of time and frustration if you do those steps!!!

Took awhile to find this gasket (the right gasket) that would work on 16ga steel and fit 1/4" window. I'd like to say it was easy to use, but installation if not done by a professional with the right tools is a "bitch". But it was well worth it.

I had to replace a window on my workboat. It was not an easy process getting the window and seal in. It was the first time I did it. Easy to use gets three stars and this is due to my installation abilities. Warmth?.... I really don’t know how this applies other than the warmth I felt after the difficult job was done .... 5 stars.
