Easy, like the Apple green color
Update - still love Rit dye but depending on fabric, washing and light, color may fade. This shower curtain is 100% cotton, thin/sheer in a bathroom that gets a lot of afternoon sun. Compare picture one to picture two. It took a while but it eventually it faded to yellow. I think this was mainly caused by the bright afternoon sun. Reference the earlier review below, the curtains I did for my mom did not noticeably fade. Heavier material and room does not get as much light.I’ve been using rit dye for years. This time I dyed two cotton shower curtains. Wanted a light bright green so used the Apple Green but only used about 1/4th of the bottle in cold water in the kitchen sink (single large). Dipped an old white tee till I got to the color I wanted. Soaked and occasionally agitated curtains for about an hour. Rinsed until clear and dried in dryer. I was happy with the result (picture). Used the rest of the bottle on a canvas curtain for my mom in the washing mashing. Definitely came out a deeper color but liked that one too. Sorry no pic of that one.

Green Apple on NATURAL LINEN COLOR
Exactly what I expected! A warm green, on my already beige linen. NOTE: this was NOT WHITE LINEN! I followed instructions using hot/warm water, I used maybe 1/3-1/2 the bottle (maybe too much?) in approx a gallon of hot water. Stirred w gloved hands for 5-10 min until it looked like it really soaked up color. The more you stir, the less likely to have funny creases of color variation. The hanging in shower is still wet, on bed is the dried lighter color as expected. This is my first time doing this and thought I’d mess it up…. Didn’t. I spilled red wine on this natural/beige linen set and loved it too much to toss so I upcycled with this dye 😁.
