The carpet I aways wanted to have at the entrance of my apartment, but in a larger size. This one is very small, but still cleans just as well. I love it. Funny that during the pandemic I made a similar one to this one.

Works as designed and was/is great for me.

Works well but it’s a bit small. Would like both the wet and dry mats to be bigger ti jabber more space for cleaning the shoes. The small size makes it get dirty faster.

This mat is in 4 pieces not 2 as advertised. There are 2 identical rubber trays, a mesh insert and a fluffy insert. It worked fine in the first few hours it was used and seemed safe. However, the next day after it had been wet for a while, the inserts would no longer cling to the trays for whatever reason and now it's like they have been greased; they slide out unexpectedly easily, potentially causing the person to fall as their foot slides forward and out from under them. A family member was injured by the fall from that happening. Afterwards I tested the mat again and confirmed it's like stepping on a sheet of ice if the bottom of the insert is damp and if you don't step on it just right. It's not a matter of being clumsy or careless, this thing is simply dangerous to step on when wet. I realize removable inserts may make it easier to clean but this is not a safe design.

In theory it’s great. I use water and cleaning vinegar in it so we aren’t tracking chemicals all through the house. That being said, you really need to clean this thing and thoroughly disinfect it probably every single day. I found within 48 hours fungus/mold/whatever it is starts to grow around the edges. It’s rather gross and almost makes me think we should just stick to no shoes because I’m not sure what we are actually wiping our feet on and then tracking through the house. If there’s still liquid when you pick it up the liquid will spill everywhere. The flappy rubber isn’t a great design in terms of holding the liquid in place. I’d probably give it 3.5 stars. It’s just more work than I anticipated, but I like wearing shoes inside, so it’s nice to have if willing to do the work.

This product worked very well. I was utterly surprised this was with just one wipe of my shoes that I do yard work in to test the mat cleaning. I use shoe covers as well but we all know that service companies don’t like to use them and this lesson the liability of falling down steps in shoe covers. It dries very easily. I did have an old towel just in case to verify that the shoes were actually dried.

I have a new off white shoe closet and the dirt and pet fur from putting dirty shoes away was gross. I spray the scraper side with a couple shots of disinfectant spray, wipe and dry my soles, and my closet stays clean. You can see that the (high heat) dryer has shrunk the panel inserts, but they’re still very functional. I will be replacing when I wash and dry them past usefulness.
